I read The Prince only recently for the first time. I know, that's really sad. Anyway, I was very surprised. You think you know a guy like this, and what he's gunna say. When someone's name is used constantly as an adjective in everyday speak well, you feel kind of familiar with the guy's ideas.

Anyway...I'm babbling again....All I wanted say was that I was surprised to find such moderate realism in the work. He struck me mostly as a man who is not prone to exaggeration. I'm not too sure of the implications of this observation because it only just occured to me to make it. Any thoughts?

So basically. Defiant Exile, you are telling everybody that, like you, people know nothing of what they talk about. They just pretend to know what they say, yet in the process there are people like you that get confused? You arrogant, illiterate, asshole!!!! Maybe you should take a look at your own dumbass advice and learn....not that anybody else can!!!

Machiavelli believed that scruples were useless in practical statecraft as they only limited the potential of an amoral leader. Now, that would give the political and supreme leader absolute control as in a dictatorship, and we know how those have failed to satisfy the population. (Hitler's Germany, the German Kaiser, Mussolini in Italy, etc...)

Placating the public is part of practical statecraft...And what the fuck are you talking about Fascism and Naziism failing to please the public, they were popularly elected governments that were defeated in war, not from within.
Dude, Nazis were the most fanatical defenders of their regime perhaps in history. They were very happy with things. How the fuck could you say that?

The Nazi's pleased only about 50 % of the population at the most. They got into power because von Papen and his nationalist alliance invited him to become Chancellor as they wanted his Nazi seats in the Reichstag and they wanted to control him better. In the end he turned on them and made himself a dictator. No one really showed discontent with the regime, because that was forbiden, but I can tell you that most Germans were'nt fanatical supporters of the Nazis.

Can you now? Youre a young lad so its unlikely that youve seen oh, anything, of human behavior, but, bear with me while I try and explain the average mass idiot to you.
Lets use sexual harassment as a mirror. Before it became an issue, most people laughed at it and refused to take it seriously. Soon though, they learned youre not supposed to do that. There were people with power over them, watching them, making sure they took it seriously like a good American. They complied. They thought maybe there was something wrong with them to not take it seriously. Hey their boss is taking it seriously. Their co-workers aer starting to get tight lipped about it and act all sensitive to it. Soon the average mass idiot in question does so too. When his kids ask him he makes a stern face and says "Now you just gotta take it seriously today kids." He has changed his thinking because power made it clear what was right and what was wrong.
Now, suppose that mass idiots company in a few years is bought out and the management is replaced by a buncha weirdo guys from Japan with Comfort girls. Soon they make it clear using women for whatever ur whim is totaly acceptable. What do you suppose the typical mass idiot will say?
George Bush had at most 50% of the country behind him, but now power has made it clear were not good people unless we like him. After all, we had "better watch what we say" about his war. What do you suppose Bush's approval ratings are now?

Yes. Socialist was not Marxist socialism, they made that clear. It was socialism as in, a social movement.

>>>>>Fascists got in power because the people were completely duped into believing the hideous lies that Fuck Hitler was spouting.<<<<<

No. You have been duped into believing the hideous lies that fuck Equality spreads.

>>>>Europe has been pro socialism, at least leftist, for a long time now.<<<<

Long as in, after socialisms opponents were beaten.

>>>>And if you are asking us Hitler, or Stalin? Well, that is a difficult question. Both had TONS of virtues.<<<<<

Stalin killed 30 millions Russians. Hitler killed a lot of Jewish poeple who werent citizens (If you believe that shit). In the eyes of Germans, its obvious who the better choice was. Hitler didnt have a war against Germans. Stalin warred against his own people.

>>>>Tell me, what fascist stopped Stalin? As far as I know, no one stopped Stalin, he did whatever he wanted until he died. So please stop using false arguments<<<<

I was referring to their effective stop of the growth of Bolshevism into taking over their own countries. If not for Fascism Stalin would have ruled, perhaps indirectly, Italy and Germany as well.

>>>Fascism appeals to emotions, that is why it is successful in times of crises, not because it is the best form of government. Default Re: Ya know whats sad?

Fascism is the most reactionary form of government. Also it is ultra-nationalistic, which causes people of a certain country to believe that no matter what their gov. does it is right.

Hitler was responsible for killing millions of Jews, Poles, and gypsies, and political dissenters. Why is it that neo-nazis seem to defend their position by saying it did not happen? What if I was to say that Stalin did not kill any Russians? You would say I was ignorant, and rightly so.

People dislike fascism because it contrary to individualistic ideals. Fascism has no room for freedom and civil liberties. Hilter and National Socialism appealed to everyone precisely because it promised everything to everyone. They told the lower middle class and the poor that they would be able to form unions and control the means of production. They also told the capitalists that they would not allow strikes. It promised everything, and people desperately wanted something to believe so they wrongly believed fascism would work.

And what did Hitler do for the German people? He killed millions of his own people by sending them to war. Yes, Stalin also killed millions, but so did Hitler, and I would like to see you disagree with that. You can debate whether or not the holocaust took place, but you can not debate whether WWII took place. It cost the lives of millions around the globe. All because Hitler had a father who beat him and he was way too CLOSE to his mother. I'm not saying they had sex, but I am sure he wanted to.

It is people like you defiant that prevent progress of human civilization. All you want to do is hurt people, that is so lame and weak. You don't understand anything unless it is beat into you. On a certain level I feel sorry for you. I do not know what has all happened in your life to make you view the world in such a fucked up way. All I can say is it is not your fault, and the only thing you can do anything about is how you react to things now. Stop being such a reactionary.

i say be who you want and do what you want and believe in if religion is a reason for you to abastain from something so be it because over all (without serious subjectin to warped thoughts and being sheltered from the world) no one can change what you think or how you see things and those who are promiscuous will forever stay that way until they have a revalation altering their beliefs we cant say anything to change their minds anymore then they can cahnge the minds of priests or religious persons i can see the frustration in people trying to change you but i think its rather childish to place labels and names on those urging you to change for im sure they do the same to you and if youre trying to show a more mature and spiritual point of view youd be sinking to the "hedonists" level there by removing all credability because if you sink to someones level you might as well be on their side to begin with because in a "battle" like this its all about who has the higher level to prove something else that cannot be proven ever : the simple matter of whos better because of a belief which can never be so because everyone will think what they want so i think this is a lost cause and should be tolerated and left alone

That is natural. Most people of all countries always think that. Example. America is not Fascist. Ask an average American about the actions, operations, and machinations of his government, and if he supports them.

>>>>Hitler was responsible for killing millions of Jews, Poles, and gypsies, and political dissenters. Why is it that neo-nazis seem to defend their position by saying it did not happen?<<<<<

Because it did not. Why didnt Churchill mention it in his memoirs? How come Eisenhower didnt say a word about it either?

>>>>People dislike fascism because it contrary to individualistic ideals.<<<<

So is bravery. They dislike bravery.

No it didnt.

No they didnt. The poor and middle class fought in the streets against the Unionists.

>>>>They also told the capitalists that they would not allow strikes. It promised everything, and people desperately wanted something to believe so they wrongly believed fascism would work.<<<<<<

It did. Were there strikes? No. Were the laborers happy with their new respect? Yes. Sounds effective to me.

>>>>And what did Hitler do for the German people?<<<<

Maternity leave. Recreation programs. Paid vacation. Environmental legislation. Education. Roads. The Volkswagen.

>>>>He killed millions of his own people by sending them to war. Yes, Stalin also killed millions, but so did Hitler, and I would like to see you disagree with that.<<<<

He didnt kill people by sending them to war. Killing people and supporting a war in which people die is different. Id like to see you disagree.

>>>>You can debate whether or not the holocaust took place, but you can not debate whether WWII took place. It cost the lives of millions around the globe. All because Hitler had a father who beat him and he was way too CLOSE to his mother.<<<<

Nah, it had more to do with a Europe controlled by International financiers and corporations, and his sincere wish to see a Germany for Germans.

>>>>I'm not saying they had sex, but I am sure he wanted to.<<<<

...Wow, sad.

>>>>It is people like you defiant that prevent progress of human civilization.<<<<

No its not. Negroes do that. Socialists do that.

>>>>All you want to do is hurt people, that is so lame and weak.<<<<

I cannot think of anything I understand that was beaten into me.

>>>>All I can say is it is not your fault, and the only thing you can do anything about is how you react to things now. Stop being such a reactionary.<<<<

Stop reacting to things? And I oppose civilization? I suppose "progress" without looking back or questioning anything, without Reacting, is the good way to do it.

It is not natural. They are raised to be jingoists, not born to be so. I can explain how it done for you:

1. The US politicians, rich capitalists and other so called powerful men decide what is in their interest.

2. The media, government, public schools defract all information to fit what is perceived as the interests of this powerful group.
a) Most people do not go outside of the
groups I mentioned for information so
it is easy to defract black into
white, if it befits them.

3. All people who oppose this group are just ignored or ad hominen attacked. Their criticisms are ignored. They are libelled. The powerful do not address this group or its views, they attack their libel of this group. The average man thinks a anarchist is a libel of the term created by government. Look up a dictionary and you can see: "one who believes in, advocates, or promotes anarchism or anarchy; especially : one who uses violent means to overthrow the established order". The definition for atheism in most dictionaries is also a libel of the term created by clerics.

I greatly oversimplied things, but you get the point. When the majority gives you unwielding faith you do not have to make pretense to telling the truth. This obedient group will not want to hear the truth after being raised with lies all their lives.

Dear Defiant,

Humans are omnivorous not herbivorous (they may choose to be vegetarian).

If Nietzsche had lived in the fascist times of Germany he would of been one of the first to go into the gas-chambers or totally repudiate his philosophical concepts and his life. Nietzsches superman ideal is 180-degrees out from the Fascist master-race concept. Nietzsche would have been a fanatical German patriot, but never a fascist fool; Therefor, he would be dead by order of the fascist state Nazi Germany. PLEASE, study more beyond the few word you read. To not understand the substance of great ideas and insult Nietzsche by associating his philosophical statements with the Nazis is sick.

Hitler, Stalin, Napoleon, Caesar, Kahn ... none of these kinds of people had greatness, they are the white-trash of the history books. They had sociopathic social skills that allowed them to manipulate cultural groups, obtain support from other sociopathic persons in their sphere of influence, and terrorize the remaining population into submission. These symptoms are indicative a sick society, not a great leader. They were all known for comments (about their soldiers) like If they can not win for me, then they can die for me. This is surely a sign of delusions of grandeur and megalomania (All these Richard Craniums were sick-fucks). These are the kinds of nuts that not only murder Jew, Gypsies, Dissidents, ... they also murder their own society/culture, and when all is over and they are dead and gone with millions of their nations best young people. None of these types of people should be compared as better or worse, because they were all shit sick humans.

By the way Nazi Germany and Communist Russia were allies at the beginning of WW2. Fascism is a social-political order, not an economic concept and is severely corrupt and flawed in as many was as communism.
Communism is a social-political order and has proved to be corrupt and flawed when attempts are made to base national economics on communism.

Capitalism is not a social-political order and is severely corrupt and flawed in as many ways as communism when applied towards economics. It is the apples and oranges damn thing.

Democracy is a social-political order that can work extremely well for the greatest majority of the people, but for now in Europe, the USA, others we are governed by the hybrid concept of Capitalist-Democracy. This, I believe, is not the best way for humanity.

>>>>If Nietzsche had lived in the fascist times of Germany he would of been one of the first to go into the gas-chambers or totally repudiate his philosophical concepts and his life.<<<

How do you know? His statements concerning warriors in Thus Spake Zorothustra shows he admired soldiers with obedience more than anyone else. He was also committed to throwing off the chains of Christian dogma, and National Socialism did that very well. He also supported the exploration of your dark side. After all, the farther a man climbs toward the light, the lower his roots must grow into evil and the abyss.
>>>> Nietzsches superman ideal is 180-degrees out from the Fascist master-race concept.<<<<

No its not. Fascism's master race concept actually traces a lot of its roots to his thinking.

>>>>Nietzsche would have been a fanatical German patriot, but never a fascist fool;<<<<

Then he would prolly stand by his creed of obedience. He did say obedience is a higher morality of masters. He also said you should live for war. Fascism was good at letting men really live for that. He actually said, man should love any cause that brings war.

>>>>Hitler, Stalin, Napoleon, Caesar, Kahn ... none of these kinds of people had greatness, they are the white-trash of the history books.<<<<

Kahn wasnt White.
Caesar, Napoleon, and Hitler all advanced life with positive, creative destruction. Different than Genghis Khan and Stalin, who sought destruction of the higher things.

They werent delusions, those men were supreme hierarchies...
Its not a sign of megalomania. Jesus would probably say something like : If they can not win for me, then they can die for me. too ya know. Thats true of any leader.

That is an absurd statement, "there are no cowards in the army". WTF do you really think about on a day to day basis. Are you so blinded to your dogmatic rigid belief system that you can not possibly see human nature for what it is? Most people join the U.S. Army to get free education and other benefits. Rarely do people sign up for the army knowing they will have to shoot and kill and be shot at and killed in some stupid war. Standing up for what you believe in and not hiding behind the State takes a hell of a lot more courage and bravery than being a lemming and signing up with Uncle Sam. You seem so pro-war and fascism, when in truth you wouldn't last a fuckin day in a killing field.

Napoleon was a crazy shit fuck. Nietzsche would most certainly have been gassed if he did not rescind his political and social stance. His idea of the ubermensch were completely different than fuckshit Hitler's idea. Nietzsche believed in the complete autonomy of human beings (that means they are their own authority and not under anyone else's control) Hitler was interested in blond hair blue eyed fucks that would be totally and utterly obedient. That does not seem very courageous to me.

If you are so gung ho on the military why are you not serving right now? I think everyone knows why, you are a coward and you know it. You can talk big to people, but when push comes to shove you will be the first one to back out of it. And I am not talking about some stupid fistfight you have gotten into. I am talking about war. It is not glorious like you seem to think. Hitler was a pussy. He did not kill a single person with his own hands. He was too much of a pussy, kinda like you. You are self-centered to a fault. You are pretty worthless and I for one am sure that you have an extraordinarily difficult time finding friends. I am sure you can find some crazy shit horse chick to fuck you. And maybe find some loser kid to hang out with, but in reality I doubt highly if your parents or family even likes you. I know, the truth hurts and all you can do is change and become a better person. I hope you find what you are looking for.

To address the other retarded statements you made while high on the ecstasy of reactionary hatred, Nietzsche did not believe man would just up and become his own god. He had to pass through stages, the first of which was complete obedience to tradition (The first metamorphosis in Thus Spake Zorothustra, symbolized by a beast of burden, a camel) He told warriors that obedience was their highest virtue and would pave their path to self actualization.
Hitler won an iron cross and had to be dragged from the trenches after killing enemies of the Fatherland in his sleep. He killed a lot of people with his own hands. If you look at inventors of new and constructive morality (like "fuckshit" Hitler and Napoleon) they began, as Nietzsche preached, as beasts of burden, obedient soldiers who followed orders into the face of death.
Wow I totally trounced you "fuckshit" LoL

experience the mindlessness of tradition
SO YOU CAN MOVE ON TO THE REALISATION OF YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL LIFE.

Quit reading just what you want to read dude.
For the betterment of a nation as an entity...your way works, for the betterment of the individual....your way sucks.
If you think we should live for somebody else - who in turn lives for somebody else....etc. FINE
But you have wasted your life so that someone else can waste their life for someone..............................................

Universal truths are bullshit. All that you see and know is filtered through your brain AS IS WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE SEES AND KNOWS. So what one person sees as truth has just as much weight as what you see as truth....
....that's why we don't just agree - that's why we don't all wish to become mindless drones.

Things that serve your nation, serve you. And how does your statement about tradition differ from mine?
>>>If you think we should live for somebody else - who in turn lives for somebody else....etc. FINE
But you have wasted your life so that someone else can waste their life for someone.<<<<

So sacrificing something for people is a waste, but floating around satiating your own nerve endings is...what?

>>>>Universal truths are bullshit. All that you see and know is filtered through your brain AS IS WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE SEES AND KNOWS. So what one person sees as truth has just as much weight as what you see as truth....<<<<

No. If a man sees a bank robbery and believes it was a black guy, but in all reality it was a White guy who leaves physical evidence behind, that guy is just wrong. You do believe people can be wrong, dont you?

>>>....that's why we don't just agree - that's why we don't all wish to become mindless drones.<<<<

??? Where did I say, Lets all be mindless drones? Where have I been mindless yet?

So following natural instincts to the core doesn't require less thinking?

As to the truth thing you misundestood what I was saying
- you use evidence in which everyone agrees is valid and compare it with a belief that goes against most peoples nature (yet you call it natural).
The rationalisation that has gone on in your head so that you can come to that conclusion differs from person to person. You call it truth because that is the only way you can rationalise your actions to other people - yet we don't see that 'truth', even me Defiant and believe me I listened to what you said. Different people see different truths so maybe there is no universal truth - why does that bother you so much?
It's like most Christians (that I have known) they try to convert you to their beliefs not because they are scared you will go to hell, but because they are scared they could be wrong - they want everybody to accept their universal truth to make it more true. If you were really that sure of yourself would you really need numbers to back you up?

Defiant: "So sacrificing something for people is a waste, but floating around satiating your own nerve endings is...what?"
Yet you are sacrificing you life for someone who in turn is sacrificing there life.....
....you would make a good Christian Defiant - what is SO wrong for living for yourself? I am stumped on this one, am I supposed to feel guilt for leading my own life the way I see fit? Is this wrong?

It contradicts the nature of life. Nature does not create life for itself. What traits do we have that do not have utility? We are here to advance life. That is the nature of life.
Haha, I bet Syndacalist doesnt write on this thread for a loong time.

How can you sit there and talk about what nature wants and what the nature of life is. And that is sad that you believe that Hitler killed people in his sleep. You sit there and tell most of the people here that they were indoctrinated and had propaganda used against them. What do you think that obviously false story about Hitler is? It is propaganda to make him look better in the eyes of Germans.

Also, I despise the fact that you twist things that Nietzsche wrote about. Nietzsche is probably the most anti-authoritarian philosopher that ever lived. His statement of god is dead should have clued you in to the fact that he despised all authority and obedience.

Of course all our utilities are useful. DNA has been working toward perfection for billions of years and they came up with us. Why is it do you think that humans only use 10% of their brain? Think of the amazing achievements the human race has come up with, and that is using one-tenth of their potential. So you can sit there and spout off about the nature of life, but do realize that you only know a tiny fraction of what is out there.

You trounced "fuckshit", what are you talking about? It is not something you can trounce, but that is neither here nor there. And calling Napolean and Hitler the inventors of a new and constructive morality, are you kidding me? Name one moralistic imperative that either of these human mass murderers ever did for the human species. It is men like this that make progress halt and puke and go back down. Hitler started using 12 and 13 year old boys as suicide bombers. Yeah, that man was most certainly an inventor of morality. And do not say they wanted to do it. Do you honestly think they had a choice, it was either suicide bombing or concentration camps. And yes, those exist and they were used to kill millions of jews, gypsies, and political dissidents. There is no morality in killing millions of people for their beliefs.

Stop quoting Nietzsche to further you fascist agendas. He would not have been an avowed fascist had he lived in 1930's Germany.

With a keyboard, some finger dexterity, and a command of natural law, history, anthropology, and some zoology.

>>>And that is sad that you believe that Hitler killed people in his sleep.<<<

Are you saying he sat in the trenches of World War I, fought every battle he possibly could, won the highest medal of honor, and didnt kill a lot of people?

>>>>You sit there and tell most of the people here that they were indoctrinated and had propaganda used against them. What do you think that obviously false story about Hitler is? It is propaganda to make him look better in the eyes of Germans.<<<<

No its not. Messer will say he won the Iron Cross.

Im going to go through the trouble of finding his exact quote about obedience just to rub your ignorant nose in shit again. This is becoming my favorite hobby.
"Recalcitrance- that is the nobility of slaves. Your nobility should be obedience. Your very commanding should be an obeying. To a good warrior "thou shalt" sounds more agreeable than "I will". And everything you like you should first let yourself be commanded to do. "
"Thus live your life of obedience and war. What matters long life?"

Are you saying you know whats in the other 90%? You must be more evolved.

What are you talking about? It was youre dumbass word.

All good is measured by social service.

>>>>It is men like this that make progress halt and puke and go back down.<<<<

Its funny how your definition of progress turns our behavior back toward the apes we Ascended above. Progress is supposed to go up.

>>>>Hitler started using 12 and 13 year old boys as suicide bombers. Yeah, that man was most certainly an inventor of morality.<<<<

He also was the first to implement maternity leave, and revamped medicine to be free of State monopoly, even gave massive funds to educate mothers on holistic medicine so they could care for their families without any intereference from the state at all. Democracies HMOs or Socialist's dependence on Mommy Government are better?

>>>>And do not say they wanted to do it. Do you honestly think they had a choice, it was either suicide bombing or concentration camps.<<<<

Hahah, no it wasnt.

>>>>And yes, those exist and they were used to kill millions of jews, gypsies, and political dissidents.<<<

There was no order from the Third Reich to exterminate any peoples.

>>>>There is no morality in killing millions of people for their beliefs.<<<<

There is when its to eliminate their genes that are closer to erectus than sapiens. Thats progress and evolution
