to understand this you must understand what baptism is.

its a covenant between the congregation and God that they will be involved and help you grow in a Godly manner. Baptism isn't something you can undo. But apparently, those who have baptized you didn't understand what it actually ment.

PERHAPS COUNTERING THE BAPTISM IS NOT THE ANSWER. there must be some kind of paganistic or buddhist ritual which would parallel a baptism, which would also undo the baptism.

My parents are both Jewish, but my mums mother had converted to Catholosim and when I was born, my Catholic grandmother baptized me Catholic and my parents were furious. Namely because it's against the Jewish faith to baptize an infant before it gives concent. Because a baptism doesn't mean anything without concent.

The only way, I would figure, to get out of a baptism is to be baptized into another faith.

hmm sedqon and lostcause have greatly helped me, i got ahold of the nearest church, apparently bar room hero has no fucking idea what he is talking about, you see they said there are many satanistic rituals that will unbaptize a person. i am happy to hear thati can be unbaptized. and can be free of this poison which has been stuck on me by ther real evil of this world

LostCause is right. Babtism means nothing until you have your first communion and confirmation. And anyways, what is babtism? Just spraying a bit of water on your head. If you don't beleive in the chatolic faith, you pretty much have already been unbabtized.

Baptism means no more than you want it to mean. Just don't acknowledge that it happened.. what's so hard about that?

No but really, your belonging to the catholic church is just what you make of it. If you don't belive in the church, your not a catholic and it's as simple as that. If you really want to make it official, contact your priest and ask him to ex-communicate you but I wouldn't advise it because you might want to take part in the church later on in your life. I know your gonna tell me that you think that the catholic church is wrong and all but remember, when you were 5, you thought that girls were icky.

I was Babtised in a Southern Baptist Church. I also went through what you are.

What I did is i talked to my Pastor, and I explained what i believed and I asked him to Officially Excommunicate me from the Church. He was reluctint, but i explained to him that it would either be him or i will contact the vatican and request that someone thier do it because he wouldn't.

So he did it and here i stand today a better man. My life has been more fullfilling ever since then.

if you dont believe in any other catholic teaching why do you believe that baptism is relevant to your life just ignore it like the rest of the stuff ,that is unless you still believe and are in denial

heres what i did to unbaptize myself:
scream 'fuck god' reallllllllly fuckin loud. and a lot. over and over. hopefully he'll get the message(better if you can scream this in hebrew, or latin). try to curse his name often, oh, and destroy bibles. especially the ones in hotels. put a cross in one of your holes while mastuabting. roll the last page of a bible into a joint. vote for ralph nader. buy porno. by the truckload. make a golden calf. worship it.
OR:
give up on the idiotic ideals of the church you left behind and work on your own path.
