think about this.
Religion is a phase that man had to go through in his understanding of everything he observed. At that time, he did not have any understanding but what he observed so he made up religion to compensate for his lack of knowledge. It was truth to him at that time. But now it is getting replaced by a newer understanding of how everything works, science. But until science has complete knowledge of how things work, there will be religion to fill in the gaps. This does not mean that religion is wrong, but its a matter of time before science backs up what religion has been saying all along or disproves parts of it. This is not discriminatory against any one religion.
And its not saying that all science is right.

what we need is an inherently contradictory religion that can explain anything and then go back on itself, unlike strict orthodoxies which kill themselves under the weight of their own dogma.
Now where could we find a commercial church. willing to change its very belief system just to keep up with the times so it can keep making money?
