in all probabillity the Christian God is not correct as for all current relligions but just because the conception is wrong that doesnt mean that a God doesnt exist

No i didnt mean it like that.

We are the image of a "God", but i think in fact that the bible is pointing in the direction that everyone is a god. Not just christians but any person on the planet earth. WE have the ability to invent new creations, and to create others in the image of us (children).

I don't belive that is what the bible is tring to say. However, I do think you make a very good point. Everybody is part of God. Matter of fact everything is.

Allow me for a moment to throw my fucked up views into the mix Im not quite sure what to call them not quite atheism but close I suppose.

I believe after much deliberation that

1: organised religeon for the most part has caused more evil throughout known history than anything else.

2: I suppose I have finally decided I do not personally believe in "God" or in a group of "gods" I believe that humans as a speciese are not perfect beings and our utterly insignifigant brain power cannot comprehend alot of things so it has created such ideas to comfort itself.

3: I believe that there has to be SOMETHING that we dont know about that is responsible for everything at some point but when you come right down to it go back to #2 about insignificant brain power/knowledge of time in unimaginably long stretches compared to our short useless lives. Think about it if you DO believe in most popularly accepted scientific theories like say "the big bang" WHAT created the BIG planet that started that or WHAT created GOD! then theres the everpopular question of if the universe, unimaginably large for us to comprehend hell thinking of the size of the earth alone is staggering enough, is constantly expanding WHAT is it expanding into?

4: Why is it that we have the ability to think? What does this mean how can you be sure others actually function or see the Exact same as you do?

5: I just have given up and have come to the conclusion that my brain has physical limits that make it incomprehensible to know what is actually going on.

Now last Id just like to say to anyone who actually read this entire random rant of mine if you disagree with me, witch I assume many will, please do not call me a Godless antichrist or anyof that because It wont accomplish anything and I feel you have everyright to practise your own personal beliefes so leave me to mine and dont complain Im sure you have expressed your own at some point.

Default Re: God

the big bang is no longer a theory.

it's accepted scientific fact.

it was proven in the mid 90's.

even though we can know what it was like back to .0001 seconds after the big bang, scientists refuse to go farther back because it has no effect on us now.

is it because it has no effect, or are they afraid of what they might find.

you asked a question that science says it doesn't want to answer.

so don't go back to question 2 until you do have an answer.

The big bang is merly a process of cration. It does not in any way diprove the existence of a God. The nature of God (or however you choose to name your higher power) is in harmony with science. Therefore, there is nothing supernatural. Remember, there are meny strange unknown forces in quantum phyics that we have not yet accounted for. Science has not answered the problem of the theroy of everything. It has not solved the mystery of unified forces. I have to say that you are incorrect in saing that science is not willing to go back to point zero in time. That is simply not possable. Einstein once said: if there was a first motion, there must have been a first mover.

If a scientist doesn't believe that researching a given anything (ie. the beginning of the universe) is important, why should he or she proceed with research on said topic? Likewise, if you think it IS important, why shouldn't you be the one to figure it all out?

Accuse the scientists of whatever you want, but they ARE doing research, and it's likely some of them agree with you and are delving into that mystery of what came before with all their energy.

Scientists should research, i cant belive that they wouldnt want to know how or why we became what we are. I think you must have something very wrong with you if you DONT care about this topic. Yet there are so many millions of people out there that dont give a damn about their origins, just go through their routine lives every day until they die, not finding any answers.
How can people not care, i really cant understand this sort of thing.

If a scientist doesn't believe in research, they're not going to do much for science..

How can someone not want to know their origins? Very easily. They look at where they are and where they're going instead. Why is that a bad thing?

Don't screw either for the past." Strange how things end up.

*Inducing choas factor now*

Fixing on a lonely star on 4 Avenging mornings, on the blood stained steps of Hope, forgotten, carrying our cross like guilty children waiting 'til our father's home. Hel` crack our backs, he'll break our bones. His iron rod will comb the hair that stiffens on our spines. We walk defeated in a line. We wear our God across our eyes. Our one release is in the body furnace . . . Take us swiftly, take us now to Hellsville (Go to Bellsville, all around lets down them pills.) But still we'll never die because we cannot pay enough. Our sweet Lord may be merciful, but he likes to play things tough. And HELL is where the action is. They came from lonely starts in search of wholesome entertainment. We're the stars. Were to start. We're the stars that line the stage--the attraction of the ages. Buy a ticket, feel our pain. God, it's outrageous. It's a scream !!!

*as you were, thank u*
