Saitanism... The logical Choice
ok, it goes something like this...
What is the main driving force behind the people of this world, is it the joy of success or it is the fear of failure and punishment?
The majoraty of the people ive asked have said it is the fear of being punished that keeps them on the strieght and narrow.
Now who is the biggest, and most fundamental person who is responsible for punishment (whether he is metaforical, or otherwise)? The idea of the devil helps people live better lives.
So basicaly we have said that satain is the main driving force behind the acomplishments of mankind, thats a good thing rite? Infact thats an amazing acomplishment, it desevers praise, or even worship.
So there u have it, worship the devil.
Im done.
ps. This was just an idea, i dont actualy worship the devil or anything, personaly think life is just someones idea of a sick joke. ah well. maybe next time.

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
Now that is exactly why I always include Mother Nature when I pray, it is hard to be sure of a God who lives in Z3ms underware, but proof of mother nature is all around! I guess he's not afraid of spiders then eh?

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
it is somewhat hard to have a point to be made "hold water" when you spelled "satan" wrong...
it says so much that need not be said.
lol.
you may not have noticed, but God, as in the Christian God is as irritable as one could imagine. but he is also equally loving and compassionate. he wouldn't be angry if a non-christian attempted to enter heaven. he would simply say "Away from me: you whom i do not know."
Have you ever heard of God raining down hail, and fire? Turning water into blood? Killing the firstborn in an entire NATION?! of both humans and animals? his degree of vengence is a mere display of his ablility to be angry.

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
Satan promises knolledge. That's the basic point of Satanism: to learn the "knolledge of life", and Satan apparently does (or so I believe) supply knolledge, but as God warned, it's at a price. Those who follow Satanism, supposably live fruitfull lives in turn for Hell for eternity. Not that God thinks we should remain ignorant. I don't believe those are His intentions either. He gave the universe to us and it's up to us to teach ourselves about it. Personally, I find Satanism lazy. Besides, as they say "Ignorance is bliss."

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
ignorance is bliss because you're too stupid to know any better,
personal interpretation of passages.
my interpretation,
it wasn't the tree of knowledge, it was the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
did you know it's because of this parable that children bring apples to the teacher, apple tree is supposedly the tree of wisdom, which is why the newton parable of discovering gravity used an apple tree.
anyways, figure of speech, saying you shouldn't decide what you experience(which adds to knowledge) either directly or indirectly as right or wrong,
because these things make you who you are and it turns into a personal judgement.
you may not like porn but you are exposed to it,
you are a different person being exposed to it then you would be not being exposed to it.
judging it as wrong makes a personal judgement of yourself, and if you judge things as wrong you need a something for comparison which is where right comes in.
"if it feels good do it"
if it doesn't don't, but don't deny the alternatives.

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
oh.. shit. i had a point but then i forgot it. What's the point of a religion that molly-coddles the devil anyway? I mean, i can be evil enough without him... according to some christians i am him.. hey.. hmm ...
Yes mortals! I will grant you ETERNAL LIFE and ULTIMATE KNOWLEDGE for the small one-time price of your SOUL, or its general equivalency in US currency.

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
I didn't mean to say that Satanism is wrong. My point was that that is a religion that's promise is knolledge, and I happened to know that fact. Pretty interesting, isn't it? Satanism promises the knowledge of good and evil. I should have been more specific. However, most religions are based on good and evil. It would be ridiculous to say that by embracing Satanism you'll be able to suddenly know how to build time machines or become a mental genius able to take over the world with a mathematical equasion. Satanism is about good and evil on a basic stance, just like the rest of the religion that stem from Judaism.
Judaism - being the first religion to believe in monothesim - is the root of Satanism. And Satanism has been around just about as long as Judaism. Longer than Christianity or Catholism or Lutherine etc... All of these religions are about the same basic principles: Good and evil.
Satanism promises this knowledge, while the other don't. Knowledge of good and evil has already been attained, in a way, if you believe in Adam and Eve and all of that. More or less Satanism implies that it will provide truth to the human race of the "real" reason that they are here.
Those who practice Satanism usually share similar views to the fact that God created us and made the angels our "servants", Arch Angel Luthifer didn't buy this and set out to prove that humans aren't worthy of God's love, or life here on Earth and they believe this. They look around and they see the destruction that humans cause and how they have crippled our world, and they feel that why should they live a life of pain in a world full of pain that they are only making worst by existing there.
That is a fact: human cause destruction. They really have soiled the Earth and they see that for what it's worth and side with Satan. They believe that he has a noble cause. Personally, I don't agree, but I do understand why someone else would. The promise of knowing why we exist.
Cheers, Lost

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
actually, i believe most so-called 'Satanists' are actually idiots just trying to piss people off and get attention from the opposite sex. On that note, the best way to piss people off and get sex is to join the Church of the SubGenius! Just look at the name, 'SubGenius' That includes idiot! You have a HOME here!

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
Is satanism the contrary of Christianism, meaning that all the beliefs and ideas promoted in the bible are deemed wrong by satanists?

Re: Saitanism... The logical Choice
What I dont get is all these people are like:
"Satan's the shit, oh man, all that and a bag o' chips, can't hold a candle to this guy."
And I say:
"Well what about God?"
And they reply:
"Who is this "God" that you speak of? My Satan will roll him up like a joint and smoke him. I use biblical text as rolling papers, I smoked the Old Testament, the New Testament, and I am looking to get a copy of the Koran. Gett outta here with that "God" shit."
Now, am I executing a logical fallacy here or does it not state that God created the motherfucker? Now if something you create is more powerful then you, then ya must've fucked up somewhere along the line to let that happen. I just don't see how one could believe that Satan exists and not also that God does. That's like believing in Twinkies and not the cream filling.
