i have a book on freemasonry written by freemason and goes into a lot of detail of their beliefs, it is called "the lodge and the craft" the author is rollin c. blackmer.

some of their beliefs are that they are the true founders of geometry, and that they organized themselves into a "union" so to speak during the building of the temple in jerusalem, and that their background is in stone building(hence the word masonry), while building(not the actual laborers but the designers) the temples for the kings of israel they were exposed to many of the secrets that were kept from common people; because they had to design rooms for them.

the book states that jesus was the representation of the whole year, his desciples were the twelve months(they also take credit for the zodiac and the assigning of the major constellation that occupied the sky during that month to that month).

the crucifixion was the beginning of winter, three days later when he was resurrected, this goes to the saying in the bible that 1 day was like a thousand years to god.

here 1 day represents 1 month, three months later, the grass grows, trees bring forth their leaves again and flowers bloom.

all these things were believed to be dead, and were brought back to life.

it was preached that if god could bring nature back from the dead, he can bring man back from the dead(summer was considered the beginning of the year; your birth; fall was considered the responsible years of your life; when you raised and provided for a family; since harvest is usually in the fall; the winter was old age and death, spring was the resurrection to a new life)

it is because of this teaching that the current hebrews deny christ as their messiah because their ancestors were taught this covenant of eternal life since the beginning.

that's what the book says anyways.

Jesus.. I can't really make up my mind on the subject. I grew up in a Christian home and was forced to go to a foursquare assembly church every Sunday by my parents. I've never believed in Christianity's God, and I've always thought the teachings of the bible are just simple brainwashing techniques, along with the 45-72 beats per minute gospel music in the background (close to the rate of the human heart), and the preacher using the "voice roll" technique to launch people into alpha state of consciousness, where they are exetremely suggestive. Etc. Etc. I don't believe in Hell, I don't believe in Heaven. I think Jesus was a kind man, and he's a good role model for the kids, but I don't think he's the messiah. I don't think there IS a messiah. After all, the bible was written over a period of 1000 years, it was translated many times, who knows what's been changed. Who knows what's truth or fiction.
