Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought.

Default Anyone seen the N Korean propaganda yet?

This cracked me up. N Korea started a propaganda campaign against the US and released a bunch of WW2-style posters. Yahoo has a nice SlideShow in the World section here: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=s&u=/h/slideshow2/index

Yep, those N Koreans are crazy...

I look at these things and I wonder; just how stupid are the Koreans in general? Do they actually believe that a country that is third world at best can defeat a top of the line country? You might as well go up against a battleship with a rowboat and a BB gun.

Then I think about the people in Iraq, listening to Saddam. Do any of them actually believe what he is telling them? They can fight us and win? Forget the last time and how they kicked our ass so bad we tried to run home screaming only to have the shit kicked out of us on the way.

Hell, I don't even believe Dubya when he says it will only take a month to whup their ass again. How can the common man believe what their leaders are saying when they have seen for themselves that we will not only kick their ass, we will send it home bloody and crying it's eyes out. Don't these nimrods own a TV?

Careful now, some people aren't using the bottom left and front right sides of their brain.

Since they've been brainwashed all their lives, they have no idea that they have such a low standard of living. As hard as it is to believe, the North Koreans had a lower standard of living prior to the Korean War. When we went to fight in Korea, the country was so obscure and poor that it wasn't even in an atlas!

Point made. KISS principle rules (I must continue to remember that).
