so while the U.S. merrily rushes in, guns (almost) blazing, to secure a strategic oil interest and settle an old score, the TRUE MADMAN stews quietly and gathers strength. this dude could seriously contribute to the "bad ideas" section of this site.

i was particularily thrilled to hear CANADA (thats the big red country right above america on the map) is a member of the select group of countries now on OSM's official hitlist.

this, of course, assumes you believe the post is GENUINE, and not a plant of FASCIST BUSH ADMINISTRATION (FBA), designed as a FEAR-MONGERING tactic to drum up faltering support for the war on an idea.

"hmmmm, lets release a tape directly threatening the very countries who have been HESITANT TO FALL IN LINE with us on unilateral action in iraq. that should increase support for general militray action against whatever nation we suspect next. and, it'll help take peoples minds off the shitty economy, wage slavery, and the loss of civil liberties in the US." masterly.

well, whatever its authenticity, people in canada are fully falling in line: more military spending, more border security, closer ties to the U.S., etc. remember to ask: WHO TRULY BENFITS? starving third world nations? deppresed muslim countries? hardly.

so, canada has a choice. (well, it doesn't, but i wish it did):

1)fully commit to the war on an idea. support the americans. our military is a JOKE, so we would have to contribute resources, etc.

OUTCOME: increased world hatred, increased targetting, increased WORLD POLARIZATION. this is clearly NOT just the U.S.'s problem...this is a WEST vs. EAST situation, where EVERYONE will have to take a side. this, of course, is EXACTLY what the terrorists, both Muslim and Western, desire. but do you believe this is what THE PEOPLE WANT? me either.

2) denounce the american war on terrorism, move out of afghanistan (before we get blown up by more friendly fire). distance ourselves from US foriegn policy. work to raise up less fortunate nations and their people, instead of bombing them into deeper and deeper desperation.

OUTCOME: the border closes. economic collapse. severe hardship. america declares us a terrorist sympathizer. they station 'monitoring' forces inside our borders. complete loss of what little autonomy we have left, perhaps even complete occupation in the name of "protecting america from the socialist northern terrorist sympathizers.' SCARY? yes. IMPROBABLE? no.

so, canada has little choice. bombs away boys.

oh, and one more thing...after iraq, who?

1)those dangerous, evil communist pigs in korea? (probably not, too close to china. oops!).

2) some steamy just recovering south pacific island? (maybe; great strategic location for control of the south china sea, a MAJOR WORLD SHIPPING ROUTE and an area claimed exclusively by china.)

3) the stinking filth drug-pushers down in columbia? (ah, why bother, we've been slaughtering them for decades.)

4)the pinko-commie wuss bastards up in canada, that haven for terrorists and draft dodgers? (no, they are fully in our bed anyway.)


my bet is on #2.
