| Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought. |

Re: Bilderberg group
You saw that thing on The History Channel or whatever too? My grandfather was telling me about it, hes a John Bircher type.
I wondered the same thing myself a few days ago, because Ive only ever heard the name, never followed by what they do or anything. They are usually followed in references by The Club of Rome.

Re: Bilderberg group
I think it's also known as "The Trilateral Comission". Basically it's a meeting of USA's richest leaders to decide what to do. Bill Clinton attended the meeting once and he magically got elected.

Re: Bilderberg group
It's a different, similar organization. I think Mantis (the real one) knows alot about it. It's highly secret, and many world leaders including Clinton and Blair are members.

Re: Bilderberg group
The Bilderberg group is a pro globalisation lobbying group. Regardless of the conspiracy theories, the group very much exists as a cladestine group.
It consists of a group of bankers and other moneymen who want more power, more money and more everything.
They have a conferance every year and invite people like politicians (like clinton and blair) to join.
Some of the most powerful people in the world are involved etc etc. The actual meetings themselves are heavily guarded and there is a strictly NO press rule. The minutes and agenda have also never been released to the public so you can see why this topic appears on many conspiracy forums.
A good site is this if you want to really study it.
http://www.bilderberg.org
Its pretty chaotic at times, but perseverance win win through.
Theres a lot lot more, but that is the real basics.

Re: Bilderberg group
The link is mostly subjective tripe.
A highlight: "The Bilderberg high-priests are a force against good, out to wipe morality from the earth."

Re: Bilderberg group
You can take whatever quote you want from the link, but at the end of the day, the history is in there, the facts are in there and the people involved are in there, it just requires you to extract what you wish.
Not everone enjoys propoganda on a plate like yourself.

I "extracted" that some cry-babies; are whining about the fact that powerful people network, and have closed door meetings. What the fuck do you expect? And what makes you think I'm especially vunerable to propaganda? I can smell it's shit upwind in a rainstorm. The site is lame.

So can i, but information can still be extraced from it, like all other sources.
And i don't give two fucks what you think anyway.

Re: Bilderberg group
It would be foolish for you and I to get into a pissing contest, just because I made a negative comment about your Bilderberg group link. It wasn't intended to insult you, I just wanted to express my disdain at the psuedo-journalistic style at the site.
The clandestine nature of this group; would preclude any real solid information about it anyway. I realize your point that any info must be gleaned - from where it can.
If you're still pissed, we can go a few rounds anyway. I'm usually in the mood.
Btw, the link to your homepage is missing it's header. It's a decent site.

Re: Bilderberg group
And i also wish not to get into a pissing match, something i try and usually avoid, but with all the people on here, its hard to work out what people really are implying, this made even harder by the fact it's text, not speech.
But nevermind. I can see the utter nonsense that site gives, but i have taken several key things from it,
1)A list of all british delegates attending 2)Links to media articles about it 3)History of it
I think i just assumed that you meant i was stupid for providing such a link. I once read a David Icke book, a load of crap, but there were several key things i learnt from that, primarily, information relating to the masonic groups, information that has been proven semi-factual.
I don't actually belive most of what he says, but as spirit said in another thread, you can't rubbish something you know nothing about.
