Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. People should have the interests of the country they have citizenship in more than another country. If they are activists for another country, they should fucking move to that country.

I'm not attacking Judaism as a religion. Many Jewish groups just annoy the piss out of me, especially groups like the ADL and B'nai Brith.

The Zionist lobbies aren't "humanitarian internationalists", they are very nationalist, but nationalist for a different country than the one they're living in. It's quite simple. If their agenda is "Israel First", they should be in Israel.

Allies are allies, and Jewish lobbies are quite competent. Besides, what's wrong with Israel? The Mossad is the worlds most effective intelligence agency, and a helpful ally. If we got some competent leadership we could use Israel as front in the Middle East. And I disagree with the comment about moving. Oppurtunity brings people to many places. But that doesn't mean it should be at the top of their agenda. And supporting Israel and supporting the US aren't mutually exclusive.

Israel is an oppressive military dictatorship, that uses US backing to control parts of the Middle East with an iron fist. No argument there.

My problem is that you appear to transfer your critisism of these Lobbies into anti-semitism. No, Jews aren't naturally deceptive. Wealthy corperate religious institutions are in general. You seem to be going the way of Spirit and blaming it on semetic blood, which is the most annoying thing anyone can do in a political argument.

It's also perfectly okay to be loyal to a country you're not a citizen of, if you believe in what it's doing, or feel empathy for it's situation. I'm loyal to the people of South Lebanon, because I feel that they're victims of Israel's illegal occupation. At the protests I attended, I felt kinship with the Labanese that marched alongside me. There's nothing wrong with believing in a cause.

The difference is, do you think the US government should be motivated by US interests or South Lebanese interests? Would you try to destroy politicians simply for not supporting a "South Lebanese" lobby?

Anyway, Christianity is Jewish, so its stupid to criticise Christians while defending Jews, or defend Christianity criticising Jews. Unless by Christian you mean, "Guys like George Washington who cared nothing for doctrines of Christ but called their god Jesus out of tradition," but those arent the fundamentalist types anyway.

And, lol, why is the real, tangible, dangerous political power of Jews considered better than a Christian who, "damns you to Hell for not being christian"? LoL. Darn. I'll take some lunatics condemnation over an iron-grip of alien tyrants any day.

Zionism wasn't secular, it simply wasn't based ENTIRELY on religious ideas. Some of the lobbies used Judaism to get away with shit, but most of them base alot of what they do on their religious conviction.

No matter what their motives are, wanting to get rid of the lobbies is putting yourself on their level. They try to censor ideas that they oppose, so you want to shut them down? It is an American Constitution right for a group of people to lobby for anything they want. Someone with your 1st ammendment absolutism probably shouldn't go farther then saying their power should be limited.

The Zionist movement was founded by a bunch of secular ATHEIST Jews. This isn't a suppressed fact.

Jewish Zionist lobbies do not have a "right" to buy off the government to support Israel. Freedom of Speech is not freedom of bribery and extortion. They should move to Israel. I stand by my comment. If anyone thinks that their loyalties are to a foreign country more than to the people in the country they live in, they should save up all the fucking cash they usually throw at politicians and buy a ticket to Tel Aviv.

The government in a nation is supposed to work for the people in that nation, not for the people overseas that have their own governments.

Default Re: Wait a minute...

They weren't at first. They actually bickered on where the homeland should be. Some thought Argentina, or something.

Based on my understanding of history, they settled on the "holy land" for a few reasons. One, they could use the religious/historical aspects of the holy land to convince religious Jewry into supporting the cause and moving over (which mostly failed until after WWII - it was a blasphemous idea to orthodox Jewry, in fact). Two, there was the advantage of it being controlled by the Brits, whom they could manipulate into giving over the land to them instead of giving the indigenous Arabs sovereignity over it.

It's only later on that Zionism became more religious, especially with their settler groups thinking they were "redeeming the land" by taking it from Muslims.

However, it's basically a nationalist movement. The Zionist lobbies aren't lobbying for religious purposes like protecting their religious freedom or anything... they lobby for secular nationalist reasons, like $$$$ and arms for a foreign country. That's not religious, and thus does not deserve the freedom to do what they do based on a "religious freedom" arguement.

The intial founding lobbiers were atheist, but that was before the movement gained the amount of power it has now. Currently, in the wake of the recent events in the middle east, the lobbies base their stance on their religion. Even their greedy financial exploits in support of Israel are based on their belief that Israel is their holy land. The root to all of it is religion.

There's nothing wrong with stopping bribery and extortion. There is something uncontritutional about getting rid of them all together. It's possible to limit their power, and control where they throw around their money to stop them from funding Israel, but it's impossable to disband them. They will always have the right to lobby lawfully, as long as their money doesn't fund terror and oppressive activity.

There are organizations that fund Palestinian groups. Their or organizations that lobby for Cuban Public Education. The first ammendment doesn't include "only if it serves national interest."

Concerns In US About
Israel-To-China Arms Deals
By Carol Giacomo
Diplomatic Correspondent
9-9-2

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - China and Russia have faced repeated U.S. sanctions for their arms sales, but a largely unheralded player in what Washington considers the troubling proliferation game is Israel, one of the closest U.S. allies.

The Jewish state, recipient annually of $3 billion in U.S. aid, is second only to Russia as a weapons provider to China, U.S. congressional investigators say.

Some experts fear sensitive U.S. technology may show up via Israel in systems sold by China to Iran and North Korea, which President Bush termed "axis of evil" states after the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

"Israel ranks second only to Russia as a weapons system provider to China and as a conduit for sophisticated military technology, followed by France and Germany," according to a recent report by the U.S.-China Security Review Commission, a panel established by Congress to examine security and economic relations between the two countries.

"Recent upgrades in target acquisition and fire control, probably provided by Israeli weapons specialists, have enhanced the capabilities of the older guided missile destroyers and frigates" in the Chinese navy's inventory, it said.

The commission, which holds hard-line views on China, cited Israel as a supplier to Beijing of radar systems, optical and telecommunications equipment, drones and flight simulators.

"Israel has established itself as an important exporter of high-technology niche weapons containing more sophisticated technology than what is provided by Russia," it said.

WORRYING RELATIONSHIP

"Among the people who are aware of this (Israel-China) trade, there is a consensus that this is not a healthy relationship," commission chairman Richard D'Amato told Reuters. "There is a growing consensus that transfers of these technologies is worrisome given the balance of power in the Taiwan Straits," he said.

D'Amato referred to the fact that Israel-China cooperation persists even as Washington has sold increasingly sophisticated weapons to Taiwan as a defense against China.

Beijing considers the island a renegade and has pledged to use force, if needed, to achieve eventual reunification.

This creates an ironic possibility: In the event of war, China, with weapons supplied or enhanced by Israel that may have been supplied or enhanced by the United States, would face Taiwan, armed with U.S.-made jets and other military hardware.

In November 2000, China promised not to assist any country in developing ballistic missiles that could be used to deliver nuclear weapons and to enact strict export-control rules.

But Beijing only just now published the export rules and in the interim, the CIA said Chinese firms provided dual-use missile-related items, raw materials, and/or assistance to several countries of proliferation concern, including Iran, North Korea, and Libya.

Two senior U.S. officials told Reuters there has been little attention given to China-Israel arms ties since Bush took office.

Issues that could draw criticism of Israel are sensitive in America, where pro-Israel interests wield considerable clout.

"It is a concern when anybody sells the Chinese advanced systems -- and the Israeli systems are very advanced -- that we might, at one point, find ourselves opposite those systems in the hands of the Chinese," said one senior U.S. official.

But, he added, "I'd be more concerned about it if there was more evidence of (recent) activity" between Israel and China.

The Washington Times in July said U.S. intelligence identified an Israeli-made anti-radar weapon, the unmanned "Harpy" drone, deployed with Chinese forces opposite Taiwan.

A U.S. government source confirmed to Reuters that Israel provided the weapon to China. He called the transfer "astounding" because it is a key weapon that, in China's hands, could impair the effectiveness of U.S. Aegis cruisers.

China, a rising economic and military power, has embarked on a major military modernization and some U.S. officials and analysts view Beijing as a serious potential threat.

BUT DOUBTS PERSIST

Despite the U.S.-China Security Review Commission's concerns, some analysts doubt Israel made any significant recent transfers to China.

Two years ago, under U.S. pressure, Israel suspended the sale to Beijing of four $250 million-a-copy advanced early warning Phalcon aircraft, similar to U.S. AWACS planes.

The proposed deal alarmed the Pentagon and infuriated some members of Congress, who threatened to cut U.S. military aid to Israel if the lucrative deal went through.

U.S. officials and other knowledgeable sources say Israel was stunned at the vehement U.S. reaction and this made Israel even more cautious about future deals with China.

The proposed Phalcon deal "involved indigenous Israeli technology and would have provided lots of jobs for our defense industries," an Israeli official told Reuters.

But it was canceled "because Israel has an understanding with the United States that we will not act in a way that will endanger U.S. national security interests," he said.

"I think Phalcon was a watershed. It showed the level of our commitment" to the United States, said the Israeli official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Added a senior U.S. official, "Before the Israelis get in another situation where they are crosswise with us, they'll think twice about it -- the last flap still reverberates."

But D'Amato disagreed. "We still think they are involved in this in a serious way," including high-tech intelligence exchanges and a sharing of missile technology.

Israel began an arms relationship with China in the Cold War with U.S. backing as a means of balancing off the Soviet Union. But the ties have increasingly troubled Washington.

Six years ago, U.S. government reports accused Israel of illegally transferring U.S. technology from the largely U.S.-funded Lavi fighter plane program to China. China's new F-10 fighter jet is said to be nearly identical to the Lavi.

Analysts said that in addition to reaping profits and lowering defense production costs, Israel believes arms sales to China raises its influence with Beijing and gains it vital intelligence about its enemies, with whom China does business.

Be careful when overusing the word "nazi". An annoyance towards powerful Jewish lobbies does not = "Nazi".

Liberals are just extremely naive and take for granted a lot of ideas that aren't true at all. They also often seem driven by some kind of hatred or revenge on Western civilization. For example, some white liberals have said that if "minorities" in gangs get violent and commit crimes against white people, it's because we "deserve" it for "setting a bad example and oppressing everyone so bad". It's amazing the extent that white liberals are so afflicted with self-guilt that they'd support anything a "minority" group demands even if it's blatant opportunism and power-grabbing (reparations, more federal social programs, etc). I used to be kinda like this, but snapped out of it rather quick after seeing how far many white leftists are really taking it and noticed how they're all scamming themselves.

An inside joke. Israeli Agents assinated a terror leader with an exploding cell phone, and killed some of those responsible for the Munich Olympics massacre by detonating explosives when they answered their telephone. Along with shooting people at close range with a .22 and getting away.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - there's nothing wrong with wanting to expell Zionist lobbies, but don't pretend to advocate the first ammendment. Either completely disband the constitution or completely enforce it. Making "acceptions" is the dumbest thing ever.

The first amendment exists for people who want to actually voice grievances and complaints as citizens of the nation, and for the free exchange of ideas. It doesn't exist for people who do not care at all about the country except for USING the government as a tool for a foreign nation. When they wrote the first amendment, they meant it for Americans who want to change/improve the government for the people, not for foreigners who want to use their monetary clout to take advantage of the US. You think they would have allowed a bunch of French people to come over to the US and lobby for the purpose of making taxpayers give money to France? US government and constitution is for US people, not people with loyalty to another nation. If Zionist lobbies want "freedom of speech", they can get it in Israel.

The First Ammendment guarentees everyone's right to speak out for and peacefully support anything they want. They can lobby for any cause they believe in as long as they use legal means for raising money, and they can fund anything they want as long as it's not criminal actions.

Just admit that you don't agree with the firsta mmendment if you're going to advocate shutting down the lobbies.

Uncl, foreign lobbies being entrenched within and using the government are a threat to national security. This is not a first amendment issue. I know you used to be Stalinist, but if there were a powerful Soviet lobby within America that would not have been a good thing for America. Just about everyone agrees that a very powerful Saudi lobby is a threat to national security. The same goes for Israel. When Israel attacked the USS Liberty, the Zionist lobby in the US pulled strings to get it covered up. This is not a free speech issue.

___

What does the 1st amendment have to do with lobbying? Handing someone a check, while asking for a favorable vote, is not protected freedom of speech.

It's really pointless to stop any one lobby, when the real problem is corrupted representatives in our own system.

There's nothing in the firsta mmendment that protects a lobby's right to engage in bribary and other corrupt activity. Unfortunately, they do have the right to exist, as long as they act within federal law.

Yes, civil liberties are a threat to national security. That's why I'm against them all together. I'm claiming to support them but declare I'd shut down what I'd consider dangerous. I agree with you about the lobbies, there's no point ina rguing about their danger. I'm arguing that it's two sides to make these claims while pretending to stand for the Constitution.

It's hard to get non corrupted representatives in the government when the Zionist lobby smears and destroys the careers of any politician that stands up to them and pours millions into the campaigns of opponents that are running against people the Zionist lobby does not like. Getting rid of the foreign lobbies corrupting the political process is one major step in the right direction.

Uncl, the right for foreigners to lobby for another nation has NOTHING to do with civil liberties and is not protected by the constitution!

Gotta say that if they blacks were white then they would be no different to the conventional whites. (excepting Wacko Jacko) but it is ignorance that makes people think it matters.

When someone murders a black man it is insatntly a "racially motivated attack". That is racism in itself, because the whites aren't given a look in. If a white man is murdered however no one calls it "racially motivated". Racism isn't just White on Black/Asian/etc. Does it surprise you that most people ARE racist. Every Polish/Irishman joke and every time you say "Lets kill the rag-heads" is racist. Who gives a fuck if they're black, white or fuckng rainbow coloured, they are citizens of the world and deserve equal respect.

You complain about double standards in prosecutions and then talk about how ignorant it is for White people to notice that those who are terrorizing and killing them are not White. Your attitude, philosophy, delusion, whatever it is, that makes you say it doesn't matter what RACE someone is (color is an indicator but not the whole story) is the attitude that we have to thank for the double standards. You really don't seem, yet, to have a grasp on the scale of what is happening with the races. You seem like you only recently came to Earth. Which planet were you dwelling on before now, Planet Playstation2? Listen to http://www.natall.com and read http://www.newnation.org to get some kind of grasp on reality today. Welcome to Earth.

Probably. But thats only because most murders are committed for personal reasons by people close to you. If you count only parasitical crimes of violence intended to rob or rape people, its either about even, or more blacks victimizing white people.
