I think its rather convienent that of all the states it could have gone down in it went down in Florida, the State where Bush's brother is Governor.

Other cirumstances also make it likely. Florida is the state were most of the overseas military choose as their residence, for tax reason. And many democrats move to florida when they retire. So, it doesn't really seem like the reason of dispute was Jeff.

Actually a research company did a research on the election - just for fun I guess (that's what those companies do). They found out that if the votes were indeed recounted, gore would have won.

Now I am not obsessing over the election that much... even though I hate Bush with a passion. He hasnt destroyed the United States yet, so I guess he isnt that bad.

Gore is kinda freaky I guess... although I dont mind the fact that he states he invented the internet. He may be deluded but he's not insane. I think. P.S. what's wrong with getting contributions from china?

It's not what al gore would've done. It's what Lieberman and Tipper Gore would've done with their new found influence.

Lieberman would've used his power to get anything even slightly controversial removed from video games and tv. Tipper Gore, former head of the PMRC, would've had any music with sex or violence or any sort of debatable message or even foul language banned.

At least they would've tried to. 9/11 probably would've given them the chance.
