| Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought. |

U.N. labels on U.S. parks
A great story that I found on several sites... U.N. designations such as "World Heritage Site" and "Biosphere Reserve" are being placed on dozens of U.S parks and monuments, including Independence Hall, the Statue of Liberty and Yellowstone National Park. At Mt. Mitchell State Park in North Carolina (pictured here), a sign leading into the park designated it as a U.N. Biosphere Reserve. When citizens protested, the words "United Nations" were taken off the sign and "international" was put in its place, to make it seem less ominous. But if all of this is so innocent, why were the words "United Nations" taken off? Is it not possible for federal and U.N. officials to explain the role of the U.N. in these parks and sites? Some experts believe that these international designations are part of a process by which the U.N., working with federal agencies, is moving to restrict access to enormous areas of U.S. territory, for the purpose of safeguarding the natural resources, including plants, animals and things, that are the province of "Gaia," the earth spirit.

Spiffy, I have never liked you. I have enjoyed reading your posts, etc cause you are a smart individual, but I have concluded you are a troll for the sinister powers that be. You are corrupted and blind. Your mind is not your own, and may "Gaia" have mercy on your soul.

Lokil, I'm reading your posts, and it's obvious you seem to be disgusted with things that allign themselves with the earth more that the nation.
Is the earth so bad? Does one nation have to claim everything?

No, never. I am just against the E.U./U.N. world order that create world agencies with a socialist/resistance is futile type mentality. And that worship the spirit of the Earth instead of a God/Higher state of being. Whether it be God, Allah, Nirvana, etc..

Those who believe in the spirit of the Earth would place Gaea in a position of worship very similar to that of God for Christians, Allah for Muslims, Bob for cool people, etc.

Re: U.N. labels on U.S. parks
God, Allah, Nirvana, or Uncle Sam. How is worshipping your nation's flag any better than worshipping the earth?
The UN is doing a great job in promoting globilization and reforming the economy. The nation is promting their individual capitalistic "we're better than you cause we have money and nuclear weapons" attitude. Which do you think the kids should pledge to?
