| Politics: Left, Right, and Center National, state, regional, and local politics. Who's doing what to whom, and what you can do about it. How-to-get-action messages are encouraged. "How the government fucked up my life" stories are encouraged. Sharing new methods for cheating on taxes is encouraged. Sample "letters to congresscritters" are encouraged. Apathy and "I can't do anything" posts are discouraged. Left, right, centrist, or any other form of political-economic systems are all up for discussion. Be prepared to defend yourself, or at least have a good line of bullshit ready. Extensive quoting of economists and philosophers is frowned upon. We want to hear what YOU have to say, not what some constipated, impotent, dead guy dreamt up while suffering from the DT's over a hundred years ago thought. |

No, although most people probably have at least one politician they'd like to stick a bomb underneath.

Yes, americans like Lokil pride themselves in elections where it's not your ideas that count, it's you pocket book, where everyone is corrupted by money and where you only have two choices that each are presenting the same ideas.

Well go ask Alan Smithee. What's better : living under a despotic regime and not doing anything about it or living under a despotic regime and fighting against it.

Who spent 350 million to buy the United states of america? The one and only : The amrican political system is corrupted, with senators and congressmen receiving bribes from organization like the NRA, religious groups and jewish lobbies in the form of "donation".

Re: politics here in philipiines!
red rover why do you care so much about american politics; and how we got our leaders.
could it be you're pissed because you're prime minister has no power and you vote for nothing anyways;
or could it be you're pissed that it's world opinion that's the only thing stopping us from sewing two more stars on our flag for you and mexico?

Re: politics here in philipiines!
BTW rover, 350 million was party contributions. Corzine used his own private fortune
Even Ross Perot and Steve Forbes used their own monies and they didn't get far. Bush won because he is confident amd comfortable with his flaws. I want a person for a President not a fucking dictionary.
Keep trying to win a arguement with me you piece of canadian gutter trash.

Re: politics here in philipiines!
So, Lokil, your claming that it's better for your politicians to be bribed by other people than use their own funds?
Secondly, I wouldn't mind a real person as president of the United States but unfortunatly, we got a dumb, elitist, yellow-bellied baboon who always relies on his aids to tell him what to say.
Thirdly, I'm here to show the dissolutioned youth of America that they shouldn't beleive all the propaganda that the governemnt has been feeding them and that a better system does exist.
And finally, a prime minister does have more power than a president because he can propose his own laws.
