I swear im gonna cry! Ok earlier today some guy sent me a programme over msn! I thought he was a freind so i accepted.Anyway, it logged me out a few times and the next time i entered my whole contact list had been deleted. Then i got signed out again and i now he has changed my password! So i created a new acount and added myself(old acount) and im talking to him right now whilst he is on my acount and he doesnt know who i am but he says the only way he will give an acount back is if he gets money!!!
I have no idea what to do and where to go-anyone here can help me please? P.S his acount is steven_me85@hotmail.com and my old one(the one he took over)is god_im_sexy49@hotmai.com

short of doing what he did to you back, there is nothing. contacting microsoft with his details and an explination should get him banned quickly, they get trigger happy about stuff like that (there was a thing about hotmail a while ago). getting the law involved will just get you laughed at. so complain to microsoft (or whoever is in control of messenger at the moment) and if that fails try to fight back, although i doubt your chances on that front.

Yeh i doubt my chances of fighting bback too. I thought at first he was maybe using a bot or something but he has now aslo screwed up my web page so i think he has an idea what he is doing. How do i contact microsoft? Just e-mail them and tell them the problem? Will that work?

Do you remember how big the so-called "program" was? And why would you accept it?

ahahahaahahahah u fell for that? i mean cmon, i wouldnt accept a exe file from my bestfriend. let me explain what to do. is this friend of ur u met over the net or do u know him? if u do and u can hack him bak, simple really, if u have access to his comp, put a trojan in and ur set, when he logs on to his or urs u'll have his pass, cahnge urs back and cahnge his while ur at it to teach him a lesson.

plan B. make a new email with a chicks name. pretend that the file is ur pic and send it to him.

Yeh i know i shouldn't have accepted it but he was a freind. It was 37kb in size and i have reported it to hotmail but i wont get a reply(if i do get one)untill Monday.

huh?, leave hotmail? what exactly do you mean by that? basicly get a firewall/format because no matter how many accounts to make he will have the password, because he still has a trojan on your computer (unless it was a one time bot to send all your passwords to him via e-mail).

Second the record for smallest trojan is 5k.

This can easily be done without your MSN password.

In fact, in a clever social engineering plot you could probably send email "from" the highjacked account (without pass) to the highjacked account and trick this fool into either mailing you the password or something else which may allow you to re-gain access.

ummm remeber those good ol email bombers? u can say ur from "youroldaddy@hotmail.com" and it'll send and on the from bit it says what u want, so basically u can send whatever u want from anyone's email. just just try using that and send something to everyone telling them it aint u. and 2ndly u dumbass!! Oh right sorry. Yeh i knew him personnaly but he left school 4 weeks ago and has gone to St.Andrews University whitch is a bit away from me!
Anyway i THINK it might be getting sorted via hotmail but anyways....i know if i really wanted to i could do these things, i could get his IP if i wanted to too but i dont really yet. Surely pissing with him makes me just as bad if this gets at all serious?

sigh, scan your system with www.antivirus.com online or just format your comp. i never have anything on my comp that i cant get back in a day or so. or just back up all your shit then format and then scan the shit htat u backed up. and if u dont have a burner i weep for u.

sigh even louder. I do not have a virus or trojan installed it is not that i care about, its sorted. Wot i care about is gettin my password back.

If you do get it back he can just got that new password because he still has the trojan on your computer, if he uses one of the trojans with more options, he can upload new virus's, see your desktop, send key's to your computer, key logger, mouse clicks, turn your computer into a FTP/Telnet server not the menction the passwords...

So get that trojan before you do anything...
