the software bundled with it is similar to netstumblers funtionality. it allows you to discover access points in range. more on this tomorow....

Same with the software that comes with intel access points... mind you, netstumbler is more powerful imo.

ok it will report the SSID, whether or not WEP is enabled, the name of the AP, the channel and some other usefull info. it has a conect tab which you hit and it configures your box to conect to that particular AP in the area. I would certainly recomend this card to anyone looking for a laptop wireless card. dont plan on using it with windows CE, its supposed to support it but the drivers dont work for shit on my jornada HPC Pro with CE kernel 2.11. the tech support was utterly useless for the CE problem as well but the windows 98 install went without a single problem. all in all for 50 dollars i think its a good card.
