okay. i just bought this walkie-talkie head set. I was walking around my room when i heard the chanel open...you can usually tell when the chanel is open because you get this sort of static sound. well i started hearing a bunch of weird shit, like this kid playing the piano, the dog barking, and some household conversations. It took a bit, but my brother and i finally found out that it is the guy a few houses down from us. Now i've heard of walkie talkies picking up cordless phones (we've done that before too) and other weird crap like HAM,and C.B. radios- but this shit is unreal, because i know that this guy is not using the phone system at all. Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this? Is his house bugged or something?

He must be transmitting a signal somehow... maybe a baby monitor? Or your right he could be bugged.

Maybe that explains it. He does have children...but i would be open to other sugestions.

if you can hear the sounds perfectly clear then it a baby monitor or some headphone on a radio or walkman (they transmit sound believe it or not beacause my friend plugged his headphones in someones radio and left the radio on low volume so they couldnt hear it and he listened to them having sex that night ) if you can hear just a little static then there bugged

ha ha ha, that's pretty funny. There's a lot of static sometimes, so maybe the house is bugged.
