I spend most of my time chating on my computer in some chat rooms various places and i always end up being sent ICMP's wich fuck up my connection the last five seconds of downloads etc. (basicly fuckin me up what it is suposed to do) I haven't found any firewalls That will stop it that are compatible for windows 95 and I can't seem to find any IP spoofers I once saw a spoofed ip looked like -12432423.123.543.243 weird shit it couldn't be nuked so i basicly want one that does that so I can chat and not have to worry about some queers with nothing better to do than nuke me Thank if any one has any information on this subject Well i'm off bye. Oh yea and a port fucker for ppl who try to port scan me to lag me or anything that is good for protection from fags in Chat rooms so i do not waste my time and hard drive space on these nuisences or what ever.

this is very funny! If you got some of the programs analogx offers to you, you can judge when someone is going to be nuked. Use Nuke Nabber and The Observer, if someone tries to pity you, you can chose when you want to nuke an intruder down.

Yah nuke nabber is ok, will stop lame chat shit at least, err try Zonealarm too, although I don't know if it's 95 compatible or not.

i got a small little fire wall that blocks icmp's but it wont let me chat on msn it lets me sign in but I cant chat on it and they can still igmp nuke me.

IP spoofing:

IP spoofing works by modifying the source address of an IP packet. What this does is makes it impossible to trace the source computer just from the source address of the packet. This affectivly elminates two way communication between source and destination computers. So a two way protocal, like most protocals, in this instance IRC will fail. I seriously doubt you can spoof an IRC client-server connection. But with an ICMP attack there is no need for the response to ever come back to the source computer. In fact it is probally better that the packets are routed off into nowhere.

TinySoftware makes TinyFirewall which is a pretty good rule-based software firewall. Of course, you then have to know a thing or two about how to set up the firewall.

I use TinyFirewall when I am relegated to Windoze hell. Though I'd recommend you use UNIX if you're going to be using IRC. If you don't have a *nix you can use, find a shell somewhere and figure it out.

it's probably great advice if only i knew what the hell you were talking about have no clue what a shell is.

I now need a way to spoof my ip again come on i know they are out there somebody pls help it is restricting acces to certain places in wich i need to be now so any help on how to do this would be great or you could e mail me the program if you think it is some top secret shit something or it is special so that you still with hold the information on how to do this i know some one knows how.

It Won't Work (TM). First of all, to begin to understand IP Spoofing, you have to understand the nature of TCP/IP. You then have to write a program which will send out forged packets. Those forged packets will contain a false source address - and, as soullace says, the packets will not go back to the correct address (you) and instead go to whatever source you spoofed as.

However, if you wanted to do name-spoofing that is an entirely separate issue, but it too requires a fundamental understanding of the protocols involved - and would be a lot harder to pull off in a situation where two way communication was involved.

I suggest reading up on TCP/IP and then reading RFC1034 and RFC1035 (abstract and specific of DNS) - then try to figure it out for yourself. If you have some specific questions, I'm sure people would be happy to help.

Just giving you some quick answers, maybe they'll help you maybe they won't.

All types of IP spoofing involve getting packets to look like they originate from some place they did not originate from. Whether this is a real place or not is subject to what you write for the script.

someone else mentioned how IP spoofing can be two way or one way. One way IP spoofing involves sending packets but never receiving any. Two way IP spoofing involves sending and receiving packets and this is where the scripts you write get really fun and the kiddies get separated from the people who write their scripts.

You're talking about one application, chatting, which involves two way IP spoofing. There are a number of ways to pull this off but my favorite way is to use a WinGate to spoof because you can set the IP address that someone in most chat clients(I'm kind of assuming something IRCish) will see by getting the server address to look WinGateish. and thats only on one level. What the people who only /whois you will see is whatever you want them to see, like IP address segments that are greater than 255. I still don't know enough about scripting to make this work but I kind of understand the concept; go to team2600.com and download kool, a set of irc scripts that do all this and more. Don't do anything stupid though and download some kind of a software firewall to stop those lame nukes. A software firewall should also prevent some scanbitches from slowing your connection down but as always the best defense is common sense and a good attitude about things. Peace.
