ok, just to let you know, i havent downloaded anything. Does telenet actually come with windows or do i have to download/buy it? I can't just run it, its not on my system.

telnet is part of Windows. Had you done the minimal work that Jaded suggested, you'd have seen that. I don't mean to be rude, but seriously, try stuff out if it's suggested. You're not gonna break your computer.

@hacker@ - um my telent..i now understand how to get onto it and stuff...but when i try to log on...i don't know the password for anything (gpu1.srv.ualberta.ca)...how do i aquire a login and password...do i have to get one from my isp?
