Could anyone tell me the way to deface home page of a web site??? How do anyone grab the web server to do this????

I depends on the server the site is on. Get in via a un/pw and mess around.

Start with the OS.. what is it running? Then look at the Web Service, what software and what version... then cross reference those with known exploits quote:
