I have Direct TV, and my parents blocked out all of the porn channels. I don't know the password, can anyone tell me how to overide or crack the password? I tried swapping the cards out, running a magnet across the back of the card, overiding the card by changing the channeles alot, and cutting the power to the box. None of these worked. I need HELP!!!!!!!!!!

It is a four digit password. I also tried guessing @ it, didn't work.

only 4? hah! if you spent the time you were wasting waiting for people to tell you how to do this you could have brute forced it.. Don't be lazy, its not that hard...

do you know the pin number either of your parents use for their atm cards? it's probably the same number. Most people aren't very inventive. So if you can manage to be with your parent when they go to get money out, watch which numbers they press, and try that.

If you really need porn that bad, than do a little searching on the Net (and a little real life searching couldn't hurt), and try to find a guy who can give you a free access card. When you put one of this little puppies in your direct TV box, you'll get everything, pay-per-view, porn, you name it for free. Just a warning, if the guy who hooks you up with one isn't a close friend you may be a paying a hell of a lot.

4 digits?!!!!.. hehe i am agreed with the above statement.. it isn't hard to get a 4 digit password ESPACIALLY on these new dishes.. it isnt like you get disconnected afterthree wrong tries.. they know you are paying for the service.. you can try over and over and over agin.. hell after the first hundred numbers you get into a flow.. if you are so hrd up for the porn put soem effort into it .. do a hundred numbers after you wake uup.. after lunch before you gotta slepp.. whenever no one is around and you are bored off your ass.. etc etc etc.. before you know t you'll have... once you hav ei.. don't be a fucking knob with it.. you don't need mommy and daddy finding out and changing the pas on you... if they have no reason to be suspicious they won't chage it...

By now, the dude probably has the password, that's why he hasn't posted anything.
But, here's a warning to him anyway: Direct TV keeps track of everything you watch, and it's not like a computer where you can delete the cache with the click of a button. The only way to make sure your parents don't know about your porn watchin' would be to get another card, or edit the card with a magnet (like Jaded programs), which will most likely end up fucking the thing up.

I haven't gotten the password yet. I'm not worried about them keeping up with what I'm watching cause we are not subscribed to Direct-T.V. we bought a re-written card for 20 bucks. I considered brute forcing, but that would take too much time. is there some kinda way that I can work out every possible combonation of digits on the controller. I remember something like that from math class but I forgot how to do it.

Oh come on, you'll confuse to kid if you tell him to start with 1,111. He'll miss out on the first 1,000 numbers in the series.

try '1254' a lot of times nobody bothers to change the default password, and a lot of times '1254' is the default passphrase. OTOH - I agree with what others here have said. Quit screwing around asking HOW-TO and just start typing in passwords. 0000-0001-0002-0003 ... 9999 do two hundred a day and in 5 days you'll have it. ;o)
