i have a netMD player and i like the whole computer thing but that god-damned checkout limit in OMG fucks me off. Anyone know any relitavely easy ways around this (easier than putting the used files through goldwave i mean)

Yeah. Nero has an option to burn to a ghost CD-R. That is, it makes an image and mounts it as a CD drive. You take your MP3s, get Nero to decompress and burn them to the ghost drive (just like you'd make an audio CD), then you use the "Rip CD directly to MD" option which doesn't use the checkout system.

i have looked into that method, wil that let me use the MDLP system aswell? and also will i need to encode my files to ATRAC3 manually or will nero do that? is that with the latest release of nero? thnaks for the help already.

I think it's included in Nero 5.5 and up. Nero is just going to decompress everything to wav format. OpenMG will handle the ATRAC compression. I'm pretty sure you can still stuff it in as LP. It functions just like it would if you put an audio CD in the drive.
