Default DOS and CD Burners

I have been currently playing with "Amok", a dos CD Burner, but it only supports up to 4x read and 2x Write. Also it doesn't allow me to burn from images or create tocs. Before you GBT me- Does anyone have personal experiance of dos cd writers? Are there better ones on the market than Amok? I was told that amok was one of the best freeware ones- but i'm willing to pay for a better alternitive.

Cheers for the link bsk, but are there any of those programs that you personally recommend? And as to that link to the Amok cracking group- as far as i know Amok Dos Burner has nothing to do with them. I got Amok from an old Freeware Review magazine that was a few years old- i prefer it to Nero though because so far i haven't had a failed burn (apart from audio due to the lack of toc frame writing).
So BSK- any recommendations?

no, Im still using Clone CD, just to avoid having my CD drive running all the time.

I don't bother using dos burning programs. Most of them don't work well or make bad disks half the time. I stick with Nero and CloneCD.
