int modems
some bastard sold me an internal modem with a CD wich didn,t have the right drivers! The box doesn't even show the exact model. I know ive been ignorant to be bumped, but does anyone know where i can find a program where it tels me what it is and what drivers i need? (i know its a looooong shot!)

No such generic program exists that I know of.. seems highly improbable.
What you can do is look at the actual board and see what chipset it uses (usually written in white letters on the largest IC) and then find and download the appropriate drivers.

Download them off the internet, I know you dont have internet on your computer so before someone flames me stupidly i mean get them off another computer.

Actually, i am on the net im just using an external modem at the moment i just want my internal to work cause it has other features And yes i know to download it of the internet thanks. newbie in need appeal!

In North America at least, most computer parts have an FCC ID Number stamped somewhere on them.
You can go here - http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/ to determine the manufacturer and model of the modem from the ID number, and with that you can find drivers. Probably.
