Default Modifing Dreamweaver link properties

How can you modify the properties of links so that when you make the text a link it doesnt automatically underline it. Im using dreamweaver mx.

Its called a cascade style sheet or CSS (also CSS2). Its the same thing that is used to make the link change color when highlighted. Just use the following code in your html:
code:
<style
type="text/css">
<!--
A:link { text-decoration: none }
A:visited { text-decoration: none }
A:hover { text-decoration: none }--></style>

You can add other options to the area inside the brackets seperated by ; For instance:
code:
<style
type="text/css">
<!--
A:link { text-decoration: none }
A:visited { color: #ff0000; text-decoration: none }
A:hover { color: #FF0000 }--></style>

Look on google for more CSS examples. Essencialy they are the same thing as the regular html font code but a bit more advanced and they save a bit of space.
