Re: windows media player
Yeah that sucks, and you also can't delete the fix or windows media player without doing away with the whole operating system. And I think I heard that Windows XP service pack 1 has some copyright protection feature as well so beware.

Re: windows media player
Plain and simple, M$ is a cunt. One would imagine that is agaisnt the law, seeing as how it verges on the line of hacking. Only M$ did it backwards. Instead of bustign into a system to get the info, the system was designed to get the info, and bust it out to M$. [Ide imagine it would only have 'bust out' if you used a firewall r soemthign like that]
But then again M$ seems to do what it wants, because it knows now one will be able to take it on. Though filing a law suit with M$ doesnt sound like a bad idea, seeing as how the press on a lawsuit agaisnt them would be so bad, theyde probably settle as fast as possible. What the fuck do they care to give a coupla million to some jerk? Its spare change to them...

Yet more support for my theory that Windows is really just a commercially available trojan horse...

Re: windows media player
I use the windows media player 6.
As for playing divx, BSPlayer, the best of the best (It takes very very little system resources)
