Don't know if it should go here but i will ask anyway. Do any of you case mod? Preferably any British case modders? I wanna get a new window piece for my b0x (slaps himself due to extra use or "kewl speach") but i want the window to be etched with my design. Does anyone know of a company in th UK that could do this? Also- have any of you got advice on decent internal lighting and internal effects?

The point of casemodding is that you do it yourself. A good thing to do is to make little round holes in your case (in a pattern of course[be creative]). And instead of buying a 12' cool cathode ligh in one color, buy 3 6' cold cathode lights in 3 diffrent colors (blue, red and green). So the ligh comming through the little woles looks really cool and the colors wil kinda mix, which will create an awsome effect.

But don't overdo this. You don't want your case to look like a goddamn christmastree.

I spend quite alot of time on my computer and whenever i look at it i think- what a crappy piece of beige shit. I've got a wicked set up and the case just doesn't do it justice. Cheers for the site btw.
Oh and Jaded- i probably do have better things to spend my money on (girls and cheap booze?) but

I probably could spend a little more money on the women in my life (no i don't mean my mother) but i wanted to do something to my computer case and that i will. I went out and bought that silver sheet stuff and i will probably cover my computer tomorow. Still want a window though...

Why? Just leave your case always open. You can see the shit inide + you have better cooling. The left side of my case is always open.

depending on the case location, leaving a panel off the side can cause "extreme dust damage".

the only time i look at my case is when i put cds in. i wouldn't spend $5 for a coat of paint let alone put effort in to cut shapes into it.

on a diffrent note, i saw this one case with the biohazard logo cut into it with a red light. it looked really good, but im not sure how i would like a red light constantly on.

or fit a strobe to it, that would make it really distracting.
