Re: my laptop (pics)
its just a standard pcmcia card slot, proably looks large just because of the angle i took the pic from.
specs pentium 266 64 megs of ram 4 gig hard disk 800x600 2 meg video adapter 2 type II pcmcia slots windows 98 and a more or less full size keyboard
i have a pcmcia modem, cf card adapter, dvd, and cdrom drive for it. i have three batteries, two slim (which i got new for about 30 each from toshiba on a close out) and one larger extended life. it also has a floppy with its own proprietary interface. it will run trinux like a bad mofo and even windows is solid on this box. it really is a joy to use. best of all i only paid 300 for it factory refurbished at a computer show (lest the accesories). i can honestly say this is the ideal box for me at this point. from a power perspective its not all that impresive but it get shit done and does it in style.

Re: my laptop (pics)
Z3m: I was looking at the other 8 pics of the nine and... 3, 4, 5 and 6 are wonderful. If I had money and if you were selling them, I'd buy them.
My dad just got a new laptop from work so hopefully he won't have to give back his old one (a fairly new Dell). It would be cool if I could keep it (he said he broke it but I'm sure it still works).
