Default Image Filtering

When you subscribe for an accound on tripod.com they tell you that you are not allowed to display adult content. A few of my friends and I have had our webcam pages taken down for such things. How exactly do they filter which images are allowed and which are not? Do they actualy pay some guy to sit at a computer all day and decide which images are displaying adult content? Is it some sort of advanced AI which decides whether or not the person featured in the graphic is clothed or not? How does it work?

Ive seen some adult photos on a tripod site before. So obviously it doesn't work, if you have had certain images removed it was mostlikely reported and they may profile certain types of images and keywords as well.

It was simply a webpage with a 10second refresh to refresh the image, no text. Not likely for a person to sit there watching it for 4 or 5 hours moderating every image i upload. And there were 2 other viewers of the page, all of whom would not report abuse. Nobody else had the url...

possibly the name of the files that were used, they may have some form of screening that looks for certain words. i don't really know how streaming works i.e. if the actual filenames would be present, but it might be it.

I think that they have people that randomly check sites for adult or illegal content. So you probably just got unlucky. Or someone chanced upon your site at a bad time and reported you.

Perhaps they thought you were uploading TOO many images and it automatically took it down.
