home network
ok i have a wireless broadband internet connection it is and internal modem that connects to an antenna through LMR-400 coax and i want to setup a network with a linksys Etherfast Wirless AP + Cable/DSL Router now will it work with my modem? if not wht should i do should i use internet sharing software, should i get an external modem with a cat 5 port, or is there any other hardware out there that will work with the modem i have

Im not sure what you are trying to do here, It sounds like to me you want to hook up all your computers into a router and then route that signal to a wireless modem to establish a connection to your ISP. Is that right? If so your best bet is to setup a switch into a cheap linux machine, and then set your wireless modem card as your internet interface. In short make your linux box work as a router.
Another way would be to find an external modem that accepts CAT5 and dumps out to the LMR-400 coax, then have a router, route all your traffic to the external modem. Much like what you were saying before.
"i do should i use internet sharing software.." This is more of a hardware than a software problem.

wha..? huh? now i know how to setup a modem, the internet, and a network, but wat u just said, is completly beyond, my recognition- far to technobabelish

just buy a router with a built in switch. it should work so long as the modem has an ethernet interface to the computer (cat5). if it is usb then there are complications. some more specs on the modem and other boxes on the net would be helpfull
