Do green boxes still work? if they do i have a really neat idea.

phones no longer operate on sound frequencies so the green box will not work, there are very few boxes that will work.

I know beige boxing is still pretty popular, but how many others still work?

not many at all, all the tone frequencie ones are dead, all of the ones that require ESS are dead (we now have CSS). the few that work are the ones that involve tampering with the phone itself and the box itself, like the beige and the invisible boxes. i believe that the phone company has made percautions agains wardialers, but some may still work (even though they are not actualy "boxes" as the red, blue, and black ones are). here is a list of all the current boxes (in .gz format): http://www.morehouse.org/hin/boxes/boxes.htm

keep in mind that very few boxes still work and chances are that if you find something that looks cool, it wont work.

You can still redbox, on older phones that is...You can call up the operator say, "There's spit/Cum/gum/shit/etc all over the keys!!!!! Can you dial the number for me?" You figure the rest out.....

-osiris- i've done that before with the operator. usually the operators won't put the call through but the manager or supervisor will.
