First c doesn't use interpreters! Second get a c++ compiler not c so you can utilize the c++ feature's when you become a expert and convert to c++. download.com is a good start.

ok, well thanks; partly i guess. but one other thing, cause i heard some one say that i should first start with c, so my next question is why would i need a c++compiler and also just how close is c to java? because i know a bit about java.
