i beleive that it is a Real Media file (though im not sure what kind) but most video editors can slice real files.
as Wintermute said "adobe premier can do that" but it also costs quite a bit.

Wrong. I need something that can split an .rm file that's like 50 mb into two halfs so I can have 2 25mb files instead.

adobe premier will do that. and if you dont wanna pay for it then download the full thing form morpheus.
