Default trillian and irc

i got trillian (its fucking brilliant) and have got the hang of it, except the IRC bit. i can log on and get into rooms, but i have to do it all point and click. i cannot type at all, and i can't chat at all in the room. others can see me, and i can read what there saying, but i can;t relpy.

im asssuming its a config problem, so if someone could tell me proper settings or copy there irc.ini file thatd be great.

Even though trillian is a brilliant peice of software, i do not recommend it for IRC. Try MIRC instead, it is much more powerful and easier to use. Trillian is wonderful for lots of things, however it really needs more work on irc.

ive figured out the problem. see, im used to icq, where i hit ctrl-s to send, so i made ctrl-s send, and enter just skip a line. this works the same way in irc too. id hit enter to send and it would just skip a line. cause the text box is only one thing high, the lne would just clear, giving the impression of sending.

but none of you probably care about that.
