did you know that in the movie tyler (brad pitt) appears in a clip really quickly like 4 times before he is acutally met? and also at the end one of those porn pics is spliced in? i wanna know if i was just really out of it and many ppl actually know this.

yes i think most ppl know this. If someone didnt see the pics of the dick at the end then they must be pretty blind. But i really liked that movie, had a good plot and i think those movies where you think you know whats going on and then it completly changes and u realise. (i dont know if im making sense)

The Flashes of Tyler Durden are supposed to confuse and shock you. They are ment to symbolise him being in his mind. Oh and the porn pick right at the end is funny, makes me want to be a film changer for a cinema.

Its a subliminal message and symbolises the changing of charachter in the main charachters mind. He pops up when the charachter only speaks to himself through his mind (thinking).

My final in my senior english (which was finding symbolism in books and movies) was on this movie. Also notice after the car crash, tyler and ed norton climb out the car on the opposite side that they were sitting ( like as if they changed seats, even though they didnt) which is hinting at the fact that they are the same person.

If there is anyone in Britain who has not seen this film it is on one day during the christmas holidays on 'normal' tv lol, for those who don't have sky, like me

I advise u watch it.

I rented the DVD but I've tried watching it 3 times but all 3 times I've been interrupted.So I'll have to watch the whole thing tonight.

It's a terrible movie if you don't see the end. If it's a DVD you can make use of your slow motion and zoom at the very end of the movie! heh heh.
