What do you think about the reality show Star Academy. It' s on channel 1 (tf1) in France.

I think it's the most pathetic tv-show I've ever seen in my whole life.

Stars are created in a few months whereas they don't have any artistic gift.
The true stars are artist who have been working for years.

This shit should not be allowed.
It's an insult to all the artists.

Who the hell are you to imply we lack talents in France? Oh, yeah, an Uncle Sam reject! The Hollywood industry inspires me everything but respect. Actually, I'm always flaggerbasted when Oscars time comes! So many pseudo-artists get worldwide recognition by being awarded one hell of joke that an Oscar nowadays is! Independant movies are an epiphenomenom, at best, more likely an unsupported initiative! Few true artists, a whole of bunch of pretenders! One hit, and they start thinking they're all that whereas in Europe, cheating your way to stardom is impossible! You can fool yourself, episodically experts, but not the audience. It takes time to establish oneself here. So please, whatever you do, refrain yourself from dissing our true stars! you'd make yourself a big favour!
