Help! Anyone ever heard of "Traces of Death"?
About two and a half years ago, i was working in a burger joint and a co-worker of mine lent me this video he called "faces of death." So I watched it. It was all bootlegged and the sound quality was extremely poor. It contained about 5 episodes, and at the opening credits of each episode, the title was "Traces of Death." Now after later watching the cult favorite "FOD", I can tell you that the "TOD" was about a thousand times more gruesome and gory. And a helluva lot less cheesy. My memories are fading, but some of my favorite segments were a live pig getting roasted by a blow torch, El Salvadorian Death Squads hunting down and cutting the dicks offa Natives and the Death Metal soundtrack it featured. Only problem was it was bootlegged: I couldn't find out who the director/producer was, or what company put it out. So it's been over two years. I've not been able to find anyone who's heard of "Traces of Death", nor have I had much luck on the internet or in video stores. So was I dreaming? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? And if so, anyone know where I can buy it at? Thanks.

Re: Help! Anyone ever heard of "Traces of Death"?
there are 3 films so far that i know of:-
Traces of death - 1993 Traces of death 2 - 1994 Traces of death 3- 1995 Actually sorry i think there are five now.
The first one is written by Damian Fox, thats all i can remember.
There use to be a website www.tracesofdeath.com but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
try www.cdnow.com to see if they have it, i only think they have face of death though.
Have to go right now, but if i remember anything i will post it ok.

Re: Help! Anyone ever heard of "Traces of Death"?
Traces has been out of print for some time now, but there are folks bootlegging the series. You have to be very careful who you entrust your money to. A good way to judge a website is by whether or not there is a way to contact the site owner (i.e. active phone number), address avail on website or on order info, etc. Don't get burned. Now with all that being said. The best place to buy Traces is at this website http://bluelips.com/?source=806
It's available at $100 until the end of Oct for all five volumes.
By the way run if you see anyone selling Faces of Death Vol 1-6 because it is bootlegged material. There is no Faces 1-6 only 1-4.
