Default Alfred Hitcock The Birds was altered.

Read "The Birds" by Daphne Du Maurier. Its the novel Alfred Hitchcock borrowed for the Movie with the same title.

It upsets me that Hitchcock didnt end the movie the way the novel does. Where the family moves back to the big city only to find it empty because everyone is killed off by birds. At first i thought Alfred wanted to to let the Audience use their imagination like the breifcase in pulp fiction. But it turns out he ran out of money and didnt want to give it the climatic ending. I think it would have been the coolest ending had he stuck to the orriginal script.
