Re: Fox
VeneFrigus!
I am unfortunateley a busy man these days...
Some short facts:
He is a Knight of Malta; i.e. a member of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights Hospitalers of St John, called of Jerusalem, called of Rhodes, called of Malta.
He is the founder of the League for the United States of Europe. A clandestine organistation that dont really listen to that name (right now i only find my own posts here at totse, when I search it on Google, but thats not entirely correct, as I didnt invent the name, even if I guess someone did, when writing about them). The official version is just the "benign" part of the idea in itself: Pan European...
He is a lay member of Opus Dei - or at least an affiliate of Opus Dei. Among other things he did in co-operation with them, was that he started a couple of charity organisations, with the sole purpose to smuggle stuff to Solidarity in Poland, and later to similar organisations in other eastern European countries. We all know the result...
He is - of course - one of the original members of the Bilderbergs, the Club of Rome and so on...
He is an alleged member of the Priory of Sion, provided they actually exist at all...
The Habsburgs are said to spend a lot of money and efforts to search for the "real" artifacts of Christianity. The Habsburgs already have the Spear of Longius / the Spear of Destiny in their possesion. But they are said to search for the Grail, the Ark of the Covenant and so on...
What they are actually looking for, could be documents about the bloodlines of the Habsburgs, back to the Merovingians, and - according to some - back to Jesus and Mary Magdalene...
In any case, Otto von Habsburg still holds the title Emperor of Jerusalem. And his son will inherit that title, even if it could be called "Emperor in exile"...
I hope this added something, at least some search words...

Re: Fox
If the spear shown in the links in the post above is indeed purported to be the spear that was used to stab Jesus the Nazarene, and indeed is the spear of Cain and Abel, some one has lost their path somwhere.
In the first instance, the legend of Golgotha intimates that J the N was stabbed by a legionaire or at least a Roman Auxiliary soldier. If this were the case, then that would not have been the spear. the Roman Pilum is a distinctive weapon, of which several good examples remain. It would have had a generally leaf shaped blade, with a long neck which was intended to bend after piercing the shield or body of an enemy. This item doesn't look like that at all.
If Cain and Abel used this item, the eternal debate about where they came from arises, as the spear shown utilised metallurgical skills in its making.
Of course the imagery of the spear or the sword as the male power and the cup/bowl as the female power is wide spread. Modern "Pagans" use it extensively - no doubt drawing from this original legend?

Re: Fox
I must admit before now I never heard about the spear that stabbed jesus. but I heard about his watchamacallit... death cover. wich ended up being a fake. Im a realistic person. I doubt that the precice spear tat poked a hole in the son of God still exists. Some Legionaire migth have told his grand son to hold on to te spear because it had the blood of jesus on it... but who tells you that it was te origianal spear.
Like I could pretend that i have on of the Jesus nails...
The War ending because of a spear? Bah.
How about we talk about the wars that STARTED because of jesus.
