Aliens and dolphins
I posted this on a thread in science of the damned also. I read somewhere on the web, that "grey" aliens..the stereotypical ones with the big eyes and little mouths were a evolved form of dolphins. If you look at a picture of a dolphin net to a drawing of an alien, the resemblinces are quite simmilar.. I am not a huge alien fan or anything like that... I just decided to bring up the topic, and see what you guys thought about it? What kind of theorys can our twisted minds make up about the evolution of the dolphin in to the alien, or perhaps the alien into the dolphin, reversing the major darwinian step from amphibian to terrestrial creature?

Re: Aliens and dolphins
YEAH! You're right, all we need to do now is refer to The Simpsons, the dolphins will rise and take over a small American town and eventually rule the world. Seriously though, that just sounds like bullshit dude. The dolphins could be thinking the same as us, that we are aliens because we look like a higher/lower form of the classic 'greys'

Re: Aliens and dolphins
So the dolphin evolved legs, arms, came onto the land, stood upright, devolped a neck and a discrete head with massive eyes, lost its gaping mouth to a tiny slit, lost its bottlenose for another slit, lost its blowhole and genitalia, became super intelligent and telepathic (according to abductees), built flying saucers, and started terrorizing humans. Odd that (supposedly) huge numbers of dolphins evolved, but the originals are still around in huge numbers too. Or did the alien loose all these things and turn into the dolphin? If that is, the alien even exists? You mentioned resemblances? What? Other than a sort of grayish colour.
