Downey California
Default Arnold Schwarzenegger

This is scary stuff, this is how one may use public funds to pay for an election bid.

Arnold attached himself to warm and cozy Proposition 49, titled, 'Before and After School Programs. State Grants. Initiative Statute.'

Here is a summary:

quote:
From Secretary of State, Bill Jones

Increases state grant funds available for before/after school programs, providing tutoring, homework assistance, and educational enrichment. Requires that, beginning 200405, new grants will not be taken from education funds guaranteed by Proposition 98. Fiscal Impact: Additional annual state costs for before and after school programs of up to $455 million, beginning in 200405.

This is state run baby sitting for the broken down immigrant families of the 'Golden State'. More over, it's another unnecessary tax hike for a state that already has a defeceit more than some countries. Buut...'it's for the children and it's a sweet idea'

Nice move for Arnold. In interviews last year, the 53-year-old Schwarzenegger expressed interest in a gubernatorial bid in '06 (when Davis must by law step down) rather than '02. So what's the conspiracy? Using this fucked up proposition/wate of money to get his already notorious name a platform in California Republican political circles. La-de-da, $450 million just to get Arnold's name out there.

Wouldn't be the first time an actor was the govenor of Cali.

The state is pretty much a total loss from Frisco south to wherever the border with Mexico used to be.

$455 Million to get Arnold's name out there? He could have pulled that out his ass and still paid for lunch for a thousand.

As far as politicians go, he can't do worse then some others, although he is married to a Kennedy cousin.

But if you don't like him in Cali, you can send him here to Michigan, we just got rid of a fat bastard and now we have some lying chick, we could use an Arnold.
