America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Anyone who lives in a Western country (other than America) will know some extent of American cultural/economic/political/etc. imperialism. I live in Australia, and every day I get bombarded with American TV shows, American advertisements, American products, American spelling, American music, even American culture (such as that dumb "yo yo west-side niggaz in tha hood mofo" turd). Lets start with TV shows. Most childrens shows shown here are either US cartoons, or anime cartoons with American voiceovers, or kiddy shows with Americans in them (Sesame Street, for example). Teenage & adult shows include American sitcoms (you churn out about 20 new sitcoms each year, did you know that?), American dramas (Dawson's Creek, for example), and then American movies (it's very rare to see an Australian or foreign film on at the cinemas or TV). Advertisements A lot of adveritisng on Australian TV is American. For example, advertisements shown during kids shows are predominately dumb American ads for some piece of plastic that shoots something, or some frivolous piece of electronica. Then there are the make-up ads "because you're worth it", etc. (I can't think of any more, I don't watch much TV). And of course, there are ads for the american TV shows. American products Ahh, probably everything I own was produced by an America company. Coca-Cola, Microsoft, McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, the Liberal Party of Australia (heh heh), these groups are everywhere & own everything, I get bombarded by their stuff every day. American spelling That's right folks, Non-American English speaking people spell some things differently, like favorite (is spelt "favourite"), color ("colour"), mom ("mum"). Seeing America basically owns the internet (it's not supposed to you know, it just sort of turned out like that), and everyone uses Microguff Windows, we get to read "U.S. English" everywhere. And it's not just spelling, we have to put up with your archaic measurement system too (inches, feet etc. Centimetres, metres (not a typo, the proper English way to spell it is metRE), Kilograms etc. are way easier & cooler than feet, inches & pounds). American music, culture I'm not sure if there are any Australian music makers besides Kylie Minogue. All I hear when I listen to the local ( ) music show with the top 40 guff is teenybopper Rap & RnB garbage from America. It's quite depressing. In short, Australia has been culturally colonised by America. We are your cultural colony. But that's not all, there's also the political/diplomatic/economic side to it. Throughout the last century, wherever a communist/democratically elected socialist/left wing government popped up, America shot it down. Any country which America decided it didn't like, it overthrew the government & installed a puppet government. Now after 11th September, any government which isn't alligned with America is considered a terrorist government by the US government. The Taliban fell (they deserved it though, they treated their people worse than crap), Saddam Hussien will fall, if dubya gets his way he will collapse Fidel Castro's government (even though he has never been hostile towards America, the Cuban Missile Crisis was America's fault, it put nukes in Turkey so the USSR put ballistic missiles in Cuba, it was the logical thing to do). The west has survived this (and will survive this) by licking America's arse (normal English for "ass"). The Australian Prime Minister was recently called an "arse-licker" by a member of parliament. Also, America has military bases all over the world. Anytime one of America's puppet states (like Australia) steps out of line, they can invade them from the inside. American Economic Policy America's economic policy is simple, put free market economies everywhere, move in corporations and eventually that country will becoming an enconomic puppet of America. Ahh, I'm getting tired; it's 11:30pm and I can't think of anything else. Subliminal Messages. America uses a great deal of subliminal messages. I was eating some Fruit Loops a while ago, and on the back it said something about Toucan Sam. It said something like "Help Toucan Sam find his nephews" or something, and I immediately realised that because he had nephews that that made him Uncle Sam. There was something else but I'm pretty tired and yeah. Also I remember watching E.R. and seeing a blue star of David (the Jewish star) in the background. There was no reason for it to be there, but it was there in the background. In short: the west are slaves to America. But America will never take over the world. Do you know why? A few reasons. (1)China will probably do it first (2)Ahh, I can't remember. i knew when I started writing this but you've probably zapped my brain or something.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
1.) America is a capitalist society, thus commercialism is an integral part of it's existence. Due to this consumer-driven worship of "o' mighty dollar" every country in the world who is willing can and will receive US Consumerism for their very own. It just so happens that the most successful corporations in the world (short of a few Japanese coporations) tend to be based in the capitalist hell-hole that is the United States economy. We are a society based on big business as god. Coincidentally, the greatest world wide coups in technology and commerce tend to blossom and spread from this country.
2.) If Aussies didn't buy "American" stuff, then you wouldn't be suffused with American culture as you are. Just like the rediculous overload of commerce from other countries in the United States. Over 2/3rds of the automobiles sold in the United states come from Europe or Japan...some of them may be "assembled" in the United States but are still foreign cars...why? Because they are better machines. If you want American society out of Australia, provide your people a more attractive and effective alternative.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
First, I'd just like to say that I don't hate the American People, just the American Government.
There will come a day when the US government does something so wrong, that no civilized country can look away. I think that day will come when the US invades Canada for it's resources. (come on, this is CANADA we're talking about here. What the fuck do we have that could possibly hurt anybody, other than Alan Thick?)

Hey, nobody made you eat at Mcdonalds, wear jeans, and fly in Boeing Jets and talk in our ghetto dialect. You don't have to do that. Don't be mad just because the rest of the world wants to be like us. You can always skin a dingo wear it as a loincloth, then go out and live in the bush.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
You act as if America is something controlled by its people. Well, it used to be, but it isn't anymore.
I can tell you that I, living in Pennsylvania (Which is inside the USA, if you didn't know), hate the black culture, plastic hollywood, artificial food, etc being forced on me as well. Obviously a lot of people enjoy the whole thing, or else it wouldn't be around. They are right, America thrives on the almighty dollar, and anywhere it can get more is where it's looking to set up camp next. Imperialist? No, just hungry for money.
By the way, not all Americans get rid of the U in certain words. I spell all words the same as you except mum and arse.

Woah, settle down. I only meant to state the facts (but I probably started to rant a bit as I went on). What I was trying to say is that "America" (the US government, corporations etc. not necessarily the people) has such a large influence over the rest of the Western world that they could probably take us over & no one would care. I'm still hoping that China will invade Taiwan & America will attack China & then loose MUAHAHA

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
one small note- don't quote everythnig someone says (especially if its as big as gnool's) just to make your post look bigger. plus dont spam it
but LOL skinning a dingo and wearing it as a loincloth that is probably the most hilarious thing i have heard all week. did you know that dingos actually attack people here?
i totally agree with gnool. another point i might add- the us government and corporations owe several hundred billion dollars to many other countries, but no-one gives a stuff. why? because if they did, dubya would automatically label them a "terrorist state" and decide that he needed to "stamp out terrorism wherever it rears its ugly head". and then he'd probably attack cuba because he felt like it or something.
another thing i would like to add to gnool's long list of naughty stuph that the us has done: war crimes. while they're going on about how bad everyone else is, they seem to have forgotten the north korean conflisct, where us troops slaughtered thousands of innocent and unarmed civilians because their superiors forced them to. they didn't want to, but back at the pentagon it seemed like a great idea. the pentagon has admitted to ONE of hundreds of such incedents, in the korean war and numerous other wars, where they did things that they shouldn't have.
and they can't claim that iraq is the only one who could be making biological weapons- they keep, in secret, the only sample of smallpox in the world. in case you didnt know, smallpox was the most destructive disease thingy that ever existed. and they have it. who knows why, or what they're doing with it, but if someone else was the us, they would have labeled them "terrorist states" long ago and stamped out their ugly head.
no, we don't love you, usa, and no, we and the rest of the western world have no choice over our force-feeding of your guff. don't be surprised when you get stabbed in the back.

Yes, i knew Dingos attacked people their. Read the case of the mother whose baby got stolen by the dingo. of course she was accused, so good job aussie cops. As for us keeping the worlds only sample of smallpox, that's not totally correct, the Soviet Union carries samples, And Saddam Hussein has Smallpox rockets with a range of about 70 miles. this is off the top of my head. And since it's eradicated, It's still a good idea to keep samples in case of it coming back to make vaccines. You think we are the only ones with bilogical weapons? Richard Nixon stopped the manufacturing of Biological weapons, and ordered them destroyed. this was in 1969. The USSR's program went into high gear, and by 1979 they had enough Anthrax to wipe out the planet. that's with Anthrax. You know what Botulism is? A thimble full is enough to kill hundreds of thousands, and they had tons of it. Lets not forget an experiment your country did, by having some soldiers run a obstacle course with the obstacles tainted with Mustard Gas. I see you've forgotten about that. Really, you need to stop grasping straws and bitch about what we do while ignoring what other countries do.

Who cares, America has been the dominant power in the world for long enough (10 years is long enough for me). I'd be glad if China took over the rest of Asia (except for Japan). The rest of Asia (except for Japan) is a hole anyway and would probably benefit from Chinese rule.

Your a stupid fuck then aren't you? Are you in anyway associated with a religion? The cops beating your ass is the least of your worries. Like having the government telling you you can only have one child? and if it dies you still need permission to have another? Like to live in fear of speaking out against the goverment? 1984 ring a bell? I hope that China leaves Asia alone, and they only invade Australia. We should have just left Japan to invade you also.

Yes, stupid ass, I know how over populated China is. Does it give the government the right to impose it's will on people? no, hand out BC pills, and give RELIABLE abortions. But that's okay, if it was America, you'd have something more to bitch about. No it doesn't. If you're talking about Tiananmen square that was 1989 . When Mao was alive, he liked to stir up mass-movements like the disastrous Cultural revolution (where for about 10 years or something so called "Red Guards" who were nothing but angry kids who were annoyed that they got bad marks in school went on a rampage and purged China of anything Western, Soviet or capitalist and anything else they didn't like. After Mao's death, CCP members were deeply suspicious of any mass-movement. The pro-democracy protests were so much like one of Mao's mass-movements that they felt the need to crush it. Not very nice, but there is an explanation behind it. Excuses are like assholes, everybody has one. Killing peasants for any reason is wrong. Running over protesting students with tanks is wrong, torturing, imprisoning Christains is wrong. I'm talking about the novel 1984. What a tiny brain you have I love how you dipshits bitch about whatever the U.S. does, and make excuses about other, and sometimes worse things other countries do.

OK.. even if the whole world is in a conspiracy y wuld the "conspirators" leave clues like "uncle tucan sam" or a jewish star. i see jewish stars all the time for no reason so fukin wut. if there are people out there makin big conspiracies i dont think that they would leave clues or even if they wanted to who the fuck wuld take the time to do stupid shit like put up a star in ER or think of how to make a cereal character resemble uncle sam... and were would they find time to do this. Do they appoint head of secret conspiracy clues? And this goes for everyone posting things like that. I think you all hav very creative imaginations and should put it to use in a good way like art or new wayz to hav fun by yurself.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
quote: Originally posted by Gnool: Anyone who lives in a Western country (other than America) will know some extent of American cultural/economic/political/etc. imperialism.
You are just jealous of America. We beat England, and your ancestors were sent there because they were criminals, retarded or just plain stupid. Now you are jealous because you are America's "dirty little brother." Australia has nothing to offer the world except the crocodile hunter, and , well I was going to name a few things, but nothing came to mind. Anyway, you should think your criminal ancestors for your current lack of intellegence and your overall status in the world--bystanders.

Ok,First off i would like to say that every Australian who has posted on this topic is a stupid muthafucker. And all you americans dont think bad about us because 3 or so stupid muthafuckers. I hate George W Bush but i dont hate the american people. Yes its true that Australia is becoming more like America with McDonalds, Coke, Starbucks etc. If the Australian's in this forum knew anything of history they would relise that in WW II. An American General( or some other bs) Stopped the Fucking Japanese from invading, and yes it was going to happen as they had control over most of South-East Asia. Also the recent crsis in Bali and also September 11 just think what if it was Australia. Would you want to get these "terrorists". Yes. So to some up i would like to say Dont judge these Australians in this forum like every Australians as we are not.
PS. I Hate the Chinese, as about 1/5 people in Australia is Chinese and they are stupid muthafuckers.
Thank You

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
The concept of "Nation" (which you have been born into and didn't earn) is a tool used by others who are in a more fortunate position than you, to get you to do the things which they prefer you to do.
If you never come to understand the above you will never come to understand your world - or how it works; and what your role in it actually is.
Getting worked up about someone hassling your state is as much of a waste of your energy and your intellect as becoming outraged that someone taunts you for having a big nose.
Furthermore, levelling your moral judgement upon the U.S. government for its crimes against humanity belies your lack of understanding of your political planet.
If Australia, or New Zealand, or any other nation had the big stick you'd know about it too. International Justice does not exist as anything but a unit of propaganda used by various governments in various ways to GET YOU TO THINK WHAT THEY WANT. The U.S. is no better or worse than any nation. But they need the moral backing of their citizens to go about their business in the most convenient manner possible. So, people in a position of influence will dredge up various events that have ocurred throughout recent history in order to create a moral fervour in favour of their position. Their opponents will do the same thing in order to arrange the opposite effect.
An Al Qaeda operative will for instance point out that America is the only nation on the planet to be found guilty of terrorism by the International Court of Justice. lala, *ducks for cover*
But that doesn't mean ANYTHING. ANY state would behave the same in their position; its the rational thing to do.
If you can't understand this, you can't begin to exert YOUR influence on the world. Let's wake up to ourselves and our potential shall we?
The American government is like a cowboy who goes up to his shootout adversary and says; "Hang on, we have to talk about the rules!" Their opponent says; "Rules!? What ru..." as the U.S. kicks him in the nuts.
(lol, thats a bit simplistic but I find the image amusing...*sigh* and now I'm laughing at my own jokes, somebody throw me a clever, and audacious exit line...)
edit
Transam; the Chinese are not stupid
Gnool; don't underestimate the influence of "The Wiggles"... they are like little ozzie seeds being planted all over the world... think about it...
Everyone; you vote every day - every time you hand over money for anything you place your vote. You declare your allegiance. You pay your overlord.
so there's a cheery thought...
And can anyone explain to me the origins of the "Iraqi Nuclear Development History" article on the mainpage. Just wondering who the author was as it uses a shitload of language I don't understand (which is saying something I'll be arrogant enough to admit) and makes some pretty decisive conclusions... just wondering...

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Im reading and reading here, without finding a word about one of the REAL US-American "conspiracies" to "take over", first USA and then the (western) word: Amway! Conservative, right wing, "christian", elitist, you name it... And hiding behind a home-selling company that in reality works like a pyramid game, but not (only) for Amways profits, but to ensnare people to "spread their gospel".
I sincerily hope that this is old news to most of you, and or that Amway are on a decline, at least in the USA, and that thats the reason theyre not mentioned here.
I dont really believe that USA, as a state or government, much less as a people, has a plan to take over the world. But many of the power-mongers who are trying happen to come from USA, and/or are more successfull than those from other parts of the world, because USA already is the most powerful country, economically as well as militarily, and (therefore) politically and culturally. A position that also means that the clever conspirators from other parts of the world and/or with agendas that contradict US interests, try to run their schemes through USA, or through a company or organisation (already established) within USA. The originally Spanish and now "Vaticanian" Opus Dei is the best, and most powerful example of that.
So, you have to keep and even closer eye, cause: Everything and everybody who tries to indoctrinate you in a "US-American manner" are NOT really US-American at all!

This conclusion repeats (near enough to) what I have already said. This means I wasn't being clear enough. There are many lobby groups around the world who are trying to convince you of the validity of their moral viewpoint. Of course, not all of these lobbyists are American.
It would be foolish to assume that any information that comes out of the complex geography of the U.S. has the intention of promoting the U.S.
It would, however, be reasonable to assume (with necessary precaution) that any information which develops a pro U.S. outlook comes from a pro U.S. camp/organisation/individual or institution.

Im not trying to "get TOO clever" here!
The "necessary precaution" you rightly mention is very seldom, and therefore TOO seldom seen, when the subject of "US indoctrination" comes up. At least thats the case in Sweden, and I believe myself to see the same tendency here, in this discussion.
It could also be said that most conspirators have their own "private" agendas, rather than someone elses, and in that sense; what looks like pro US, is first and foremost pro THAT conspiracys interests.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
You haven't made anything run in circles; you are forcing me to state my case more clearly, I appreciate your thoughts.
I have to ask a question though, you seemed to allude to a mainstream point of view in Sweden of anti-U.s. sentiment. I experienced roughly the same thing from psuedo intellectuals while I was living in Norway... but I'm lumping you guys together a little rashly; it's just I'm not conscious of the subtle cultural differences between these two states.
So is "necessary precaution," (which you were saying is not evident often enough in Sweden) as you understand it, merely the ability to understand that the States is not the only self serving organisation on the planet and that some others use the same propoganda tactics with as much hypocrisy?
Or are you saying somthing altogether more devious and cunning? Like, sometimes we see pro U.s. propoganda which is not in fact pro U.s. and is in fact anti U.s. (If this latter is the case then I would say this is where we should perhaps be wary of becoming too clever).
Or if I'm misunderstanding you entirely feel free to slap me out of my stupor...

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
There is for sure subtle, and not so subtle, differences between Sweden and Norway. They are for example members of Nato, and we are not. Wich perhaps says something about the official standpoints, also towards USA. Otherwise I guess its pretty much the same kind of left-wing (pseudo-) intellectuals who scream "evil" too often and too fast as soon as the USA is involved in one thing or another.
Here is also a strong tendency of calling it US propaganda, or US indoctrination, about everything from TV sitcoms and Hollywood movies, to Mac Donalds and Seven Eleven. (While they dont react at all when 75% of all imported cars and motorcycles come from Japan).
In that sense it could be said that a lot of Swedish cultural, as well as political, commentators, seem to believe that the USA is the only self-serving country; the only one that matters anyway.
No, I dont think we often - if ever - see pro US propaganda that is in fact anti US. Thats not what Im mumbling about...
What Im trying to say is that there are organisations and (secret) societies and economical conglomerates, that uses the USA, as a vehicle, for their totally own purposes. They lobby the government etc, into acting according to their agenda, rather than according to what would be a strictly US agenda.
The result is, that sometimes when the US seems to be on the move to "take over the world" (with indoctrination or force), they are actually working out someone elses agenda.
And thats where the necessary precaution is needed, because when we interpret it as just another US scheme, and are satisfied with shouting at the US, we have not only choosen the wrong culprit, but also and more serious, missed whats actually going on.
And Im not saying that all and everybody that uses the USA for their own purposes are sinister, or actually aiming for world power, or anything like that. But some are threats on democracy and freedom as we know it, wich is bad enough.
Ill try to exemplify:
The home product company Amway (short for American Way Association!), recruit people all around the world, along the lines of a pyramid scheme, to buy and sell Amway products and thereby save money, as no shops are involved, and also to make a profit through recruiting more people. They have been at it for more than forty years now...
But Amway is in fact a front of sorts, as the people behind it are ultra conservative fundamentalist christians, not only with their own political agenda, but also with a (sometimes) huge political influence in the US. They are also afilliated to various clandestine organisations, like The World Anti Communist League...
Through Amway they are not only making the needed money to continue their political actions, but they are also spreading their gospel, disguised as an up-dated version of The American Dream.
It should be called right-wing, ultra conservative, neo-fascistic, fundamentalist christian infiltration and indoctrination, from a conglomerate of organisations and people with such agendas. Instead its called "US indoctrination"...
Upus Dei is an even better, but much more complicated example, that I dont dare to try to go into now, as I would probably muddle the issue instead of clarifying it.
As if I didnt already muddle...
Conspiracy is the natural continuation of natural politics by natural means.
Non Serviam! Ewige Blumenkraft! FoxLeonard

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Sorry to move back to the previous topic, but I'm a new user, so please excuse :P All I can really honestly say is that the Americans can often be annoyingly patriotic, and the government, chauvinistic. That's all that really gets to me, the rest (about Iraq or whatever) I can't comment on because thruthfully I don't know, or care for that matter. "Australia has nothing to offer the world except the crocodile hunter, and , well I was going to name a few things, but nothing came to mind." that's the kind of bullshit that pisses me off, a clear demonstration of ignorance. Australia has alot to offer, maybe not alot in the Entertainment industry (yes, there is a world beyond the television 'prylist', you dickhead) and even so, we still have alot to offer in that industry anyways, though it's mainly kept within every country BUT America's reach, as America is blind to anything past their coastline. Might I also say: silverchair, Kylie Mingogue, Jimmy Barnes, Olivia Newton-John, INXS, AC/DC, Skyhooks, The Vines, Savage Garden, Billy Thorpe, Nicole Kidman, Geoffrey Rush, Cate Blanchette, Hugo Weaving (I've met him! He was Agent Smith on The Matrix), Anthony LaPaglia, Heath Ledger, Elle MacPherson, Matt Doran ('mouse' from the Matrix) and can't think of any more at this momento. But we have also contributed in the industries that COUNT, such as medicine and scientific research.
Australian Advances in Technology Cochlear Implants (bionic ear) Pace-makers First Bionic Heart (not mass produced though) Lawnmower (ha! if it weren't for us you'd still be using those blade turney thingers) Breathing contact lense Wine casks (....) Penecillin Nanotechnology in the body Polymer Banknotes (more durable and harder to forge, funny that, coming from a country founded by criminals The World's first feature length film Ultra-sound technology The first detection of quasars and supernova Refrigeration Black-box flight recorder In-vitro fertilisation The Notepad Vegemite (personally, I think it's somewhat feral, but still... it's an aquired taste..) First place in the world to have a secret ballot in elections First Place in the world to give women the vote The basis of photocopying was developed here Electric Drill Postage stamps The inflatable aircraft escape slide Latex gloves (oh yeah) The underwater torpedo The tank The Owen Sub Machine Gun Hills Hoist (rotating clothesline) CSL antivenoms Surf lifesaving movement EXELGRAM anti-counterfeiting technology Have any of you seen 'The Dish'? If it weren't for us you wouldn't have seen the first man to walk on the moon! X-ray crystallography Anthrax Vaccine (*ahem*) Permanent Crease Trousers (hehe) Nuclear Waste Disposal Shrink Proof Wool Aspro Zinc Cream The Automatic Totalisator (used in voting) Immunological Tolerance Molecular Chemistry Microsurgery and many many more if you would care to look. So, jar that up your ARSE 'prylist'. And also, can you possibly stop immediately associating Australia with fucking Dingo-eating babies, and no, Kangaroos do not clean our toilets. And we do not take our wallabies walkabout. Stop watching that bloody Crocadile Hunter aswell, he's an absolute disgrace, and we'd appreciate his death.
Now that I have got that outta my system, I will address another issue. John Howard is a tool. No, that's not all... he is a pain in the ARSE because he is spending too much time licking dubya's anal hole, when he could be trying to run OUR country, and stop selling our fucking assets. He was all for sending troops to Iraq when the attack hadn't even been confirmed, and even so, it's an attack that doesn't even concern us. So, in summary, stop making presumptuous and ignorant comments, and someone stab John Howard in the eye. P.S.- stop knocking China, I went there recently and it was really cool.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Having been born in Australia does not mean that you are automatically related to the convicts that first settled our country... I am not... my family came to Australia from Germany in the 30's-40's... And any way Australia is a MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY, meaning that yes some people are related to the convicts, some are from Europe, some from Asia, some have ancestors that come to this country thousands of years ago, but that doesn't mater, we all ended up here, in the beautiful country, that offers plenty to the rest of the world.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Yeah, America is a great place. However, Australia beat it out on the UN list of the most desirable countries to live. Why is this? Because the standard of living here is far better.
Let's start with Welfare, Australia has an excellent welfare system where in the case that you can't get a job you are still supported by the government. No it's not flawless and yes, people do take advantage of the system in some cases, but it's benifits easily outweigh the disadvantages I think. America does not have such a system (that I am aware of), that is why there are so many homeless people there.
Medical care, Australia's hospital system is govenment funded, there are private health care systems that give high quality treatment, but genrally you can get good treatment without having to pay private fees.
Wages are higher here, the average salary is higher.
We no longer rely on capital punishment and the death sentence has been abolished. Not bad for a country supposedly built upon convoys of murderers. (Which we are not, the vast majority of people here are from other countries and not direct decendants of the convicts)
We are a multicultural country, perhaps more tolerant of other peoples cultures as a whole. We have rights in our laws regarding the cultures of those not born in Australia and their right to practice their culture. So we are definitely not bigoted or ethnocentric. It's a very good policy in my opinion.
I can't say much for our current leadership, he seems to want to get us involved in a war that doesn't concern us in order to make stronger bonds with the US. Which is understandable from a defensive standpoint, we help you out, you help us out with us getting the better end of the deal. Still...War is war, regardless of the reasons we join.
Oh, and last but not least. Australia was a country born in a rare way, by a vote, not by a war. America rebelled for it's independance, we voted for it. It may seem irrelevant, we're both free countries regardless of how we attained that freedom, but there's a lot to be said about how countries came to be...
Anyway, I just posted this to make sure people understand that yes, America is a grand country, but by no means the most free or with the best standard of life. Being patriotic is one thing, believing your country to stand above all others in every respect is quite another.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
Heheh... Stupid fucking Austrailians. If you all feel the same way, why don't you get your fucking army after us? I don't even know if you guys even have an army.
YOu go to the fucking out back and there is a drive-by. All you hear is a car's tires screeching, then "thoomph", poison dart in your neck. When's the last time Austrailia has been engauged in a war? I can picture the Austrailian Navy:
Bunch of guys in dingo-shin loingcloths standing on a raft. ONe says, "If we tip over, we can use my loingcloth to dry off"
I think your jealous. Just because we're one of the richest(not to mention the most in debt) country in the world, you feel threatened.

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
you dumb ass (oops! sorry...'arse') aussie sheep shearers! there ain't a one of you postin' with brains enough to use toilet paper (if tp is even available to you, you backwards cowardly shits! yours the only country ever whose dna registry is tied directly to an inferior data base... can you say the criminal sub- intelligent? probably not. does botony bay ring a bell?
yours the only country ever to make a DEFEAT in a war a national holiday. that's right, GALLIPOLI! or did you dingo-eating gomers actually think you won that one?
you're just like those frog-eaters, the french. get your ARSES in trouble; then hurry up and call on "bloody yank" to come bail you out. rotten little prick bastards!
and didn't ubl blow a bunch of your worthless compatriots to hell in that bombing in bali? yeah, he did. but you 'roo riders don't care about that.
and whenever did we yanks invade korea?! or vietnam?! what the hell are they teaching you dirtbags over there? assuming you actually have schools and not just abo bush lore to get you through your miserable lives.
and is someone really so obtuse as to forget he is reading a classic novel??? i suppose so... but only if he were an aussie 'johnson smoker.' JESUS ON A STICK, NOBODY BUT NOBODY IS THAT FUCKING STUPID! NOBODY!
and for another thing, you faggots aren't in the west. duh!!! you're in the fucking east, where you belong. you only think you're in the west 'cuz you grunt some gutteral tripe-wash remotely similar to the for-real language we smarter-than-yous speak. dumb shits can't even get your seasons right!
smallpox was the worst disease 'thingy' ever known to man???? you ever heard of bubonic plague, rat turd? it was another of those disease 'thingys' and was very unpopular for awhile. one outbtreak only killed a fourth of the world's population; another, in your vaunted china, killed 100,000,000 people.
you say you hope ubl isn't dead and comes and kicks our arses. well, fine. but why don't you punks do it for him? if some cave-dwelling rag heads can knock over the wtc, a big, strong 'western' powerhouse like you outa be able to knock over, say... a gas station.
a pox on you 'roo riders!

Re: America's plan to take over the world (and why it will never work)
You make me ashamed to be an american, until I remembered that all countries produce self righteous, self important, blow hards with chips on their shoulders, that demonstrate a courage that can only come from typing anonymously on an internet message board. Sure, Australia ain't all its cracked up to be in the glossy advertisments, and I'm not too impressed with its 'achievements' when compared to other nations, but people are people and your "Hurrah for me/To hell with you" attitude is uglier than any dingo I've ever seen photos of, and more juvenile than any Australian rant I've ever seen on these boards. You basically attacked the entire world if it does not agree with the policies of George Bush. There are many Americans that love their country that don't agree with every little morsel of regurgitated CIA/N.W.O. propaganda that falls from the presidiggity's lips. How can you expect the Australians, the world at large, or even every American citizen to be a die hard, true believing, dyed in the wool Republican like yourself? You have just elevated your self and America at everyone else in the world's expense with your biting yet juvenile little jabs. Your ego may need such elevation, sir, but America, does not. In other words, with Americans like you---who needs enemies?

I rambled a bit and didn't get to my point. YOU FUCKING AUSTAILIANS HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CHANGE THE WORLD. Except show us how much of a 'bute this old garder snake is with your Steve Irwin. AS for me talking about the military?? Fuck no, when I'm drafted, I'd be pissed off. I'm going to be in the air force. But if I get drafted to the army, I'd be glad to serve my country. When the draft does come, I'll se your turtleneck wearing ass on the frontlines.
