OK, Maybe a 11.2 Earthquake would be our worst nightmare. But today it was announced that PG&E and the PUD has officially approved of the largest rate hike so far. 80% a month for some customers. But whats really fucked is its retroactive. going back to february. so 4 months of bills at once. thats about 800 bucks per household that uses more then their alotted share.

Some activists say Boycott PG&E and "dont pay your bills". yah, i realize i dont have 400 bucks to fork out for basic electricity (Knowing it will only go higher) but i really dont want to sit in the fucking dark. That solar powered generator is starting to sound a lot better to me now.

Does anyone have a link to a company that installs them. i wanna price them.

It supply and demand, the markets will work themselves out, it's basic economics. Price caps are an artifical way of controlling markets and will not work.

Maybe all the immgrants will leave and go attack the Mormons or something.

personally i think air conditioning is the biggest waste of energy....

I've got a generator that runs on either natural gas or propane. I keep trying to sell it on ebay, but no luck yet. The pg&e equipment yard leaves their gate open all day. There are so many railroad ties just sitting there calling take me! take me! I
might try and sell them on ebay to pay the pg&e bill.

Try telling this to people in needles california, LA, Sacramento, Phoenix, and pretty much anywhere thats tempitures have risen 10 degrees in the last 10 years.
