Ains Mind control theory
I think the Internet and TV is a government Mind control conspiracy. The light and sounds generated by these two mediums. Are more than Adequate to alter moods and states of mind. It is a proven fact that Light and sound can have mind-altering effects beyond the point of sub-leminal Hypnotic states.
We as humans are hard wired in many different ways. One is our ability to associate one thing for another. For example: What images come To mind when you just think of these colors. Red, Blue, Green. And not just those but the rest of the colors of the "light spectrum". The many different shades. Colors evoke powerful images deeply implanted in our sub-consciousness.
Sound especially in the form of Music has such of an effect it can transform and shape your whole life. For Example: some people eat sleep and shit "Rock and Roll". While others might prefer a rap or reggae beat. Sad songs will even make some people cry. Evoking deep feelings associated with a piticular song or situation.
The effects that Light and sounds have on any one person will differ greatly from the next. The effect depends Largely on life experiences. One person may not feel the same about the color Red as you might. Maybe they had A dog named Red that got hit by a car. Who knows? The point is that For that person the feeling of loss and sorrow May be associated to the color Red along with things like Heat, Passion, or even Danger. But some things are universal to us all. Blue is a calming color, red is deep with passion, green is a fertile color representing growth and prosperity.
The government understands this and uses it to its advantage. All they want is complacency. They dont want you to question or at least be complacent enough not to act out on the criminal activities that the are involved in. If a nation is complacent then there is less likely a chance of a civil war or revolution. No one will try to unseat a government that they are willing to live with. No one will call for change unless they feel the need for change. So complacency is the plot. The Internet and TV are the tools. Light and sounds are the means to control your mind. The Matrix is real and you are in it.

Templeton Yeah I think I seen that movie. Isn't that the one where the Aliens are in control of the world and living among us. But they look like everyone else until you put on a special pair of sun glasses. Then you can see them in there alien form. It was a good movie.

Yeah, that movie was great. The 20 minute fight scene was worth the price of admission alone. And the classic line... I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum. The Divine Misfire CD sampled the crap outta that movie. Good movie. Metaphor for our reality, minus the alien shite. Replace the aliens for Illuminati.

You know, on the Divine Misfire CD, they sample a lot of movies, and I understood most of them, but why'd they include a scene from "Billy Madison" on there. I thought that was weird.

Re: Ains Mind control theory
I have a similar theory, mine one is with screens, tv screens, monitors, phone screens etc, How do we know that the governments arent hiding messages in the programs we watch or the sites we visit. I saw that thing about "rats" in the american voting incident, it got me thinking all governments could be doing this on a HUGE scale and no1 would even notice. This scares me because EVERYONE could be affected, hmmmm, imagine if an insane politican got his hands on the idea and made everyone in his country think kill jews, or kill pallestinains. Baad squishee... PcThUG2ooo

Re: Ains Mind control theory
So, if the subliminal messages are in the TVs, computers, etc., how come they didn't put a program in our heads to make us not think about subliminal messages?

Re: Ains Mind control theory
Subliminal that was the word i was thinking of,=) anyways.. Think about it, they tried to do it in the US voting i think it is quite probable that people do it all the time. In advertising this would be a good idea, you could rule out competition by controlling the minds of the public, "don't eat at hungry jacks, only eat macdonalds hamburgers." stuff like that.. hehe

Re: Ains Mind control theory
Chaos Theory.
Even with massive societal engineering designed to reject nonconformists, there are those who simply don't fit into the pattern. Those in charge may have a good idea of how psychology works, but predicting the outcome of anything biological that's more complicated than bacterial reproduction is always a shot in the dark.
Think about this: The Nazis tried biological selectivism, or the "Nature" side. The Soviets tried Social Engineering FAR beyond what we have here (at least that's what They TELL us), or the "Nurture" side. Both attempts failed. It must be a mix of the two.
So no matter how well the butchers convince the cows they won't be slaughtered, there will always be a Bull or Steer or Calf that notices the knife.
I think I better lie down for a minute...

NGNeer well said. My theory is that they affect your mood and state of mind. Not make you believe or disbelieve something. Just so you don't care what their up to. Or are preoccupied on something else. Look at how kids will sit in front of a game system for hours on end. Or The classic couch potato who stairs at a TV screen all day and night. Or the computer junky surfing page after page. And just as complacent as can be. Nothing else matters. It just pulls them in. They could care less what goes on in the world. Much less what there government is up to. Its not that they don't believe the government is up to no good. It's just that they don't care. They are content to veg out in their digital world. Blocking out everything else. Sometimes when you try to talk to them they don't even hear you. And when they finally do its like the just came out of a trance or hypnotic state. (What?Huh?) Or they answer and don't even know what you said before they come out of it. But not everyone is affected the same. Or on the same level. But since it deals with symbolism and association. It does affect everyone to some extent. But for a more personal mind fuck you can do it your-self. This is the tech at work. On a personal scale. http://www.dynamind.com/ls.htm Ive seen these light glasses before, they are for altering moods and states of mind. ------------------ Ain Life is Hard... Get a Helmet. Ha Ha! That was great! The whole thing with George Bush going on about how great the New World Order is going to be then it's followed with the Billy Madison scene saying "What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it." I think I laughed for at least 5 minutes the first time I heard it. I heard it on a techno show on the radio one night when I was at work. Everybody was laughing. A Billy Madison sample was probably the last thing I expected when I listened to that CD. Takes you by surprise.

Re: Ains Mind control theory
I've had quie a few thoughts on this topic myself. Too many to try to cover in one post, definitely. Here's a favorite one:
How about the Emergency Broadcast System? It is mandatory for all TV and radio station to periodically "test" the EBS. Has anyone ever heard it used during an actual emergency? I have only heard the testing.
It would be simple to place a subliminal message underneath the test sound to manipulate people. And with TVs and rdios all over the country broadcasting it from time to time, a large portion of the populous can be reached.
Remember that old test sound? It was annoying as hell, but you couldn't ignore it. It just kinda invaded your ears [and mind?]until it was over or you changed stations.
Now they have a new test sound. It's like the sound of a computer connecting to an isp server. A very familiar sound for many of us. Why the change? Could it be to kind of lull us by the familiarity of the sound and keep us from passing over the test sound?
Just some thoughts.

Re: Ains Mind control theory
I have heard the Real Emergency Signal. I think they did that when MTV was showing WoodStock '99 and they had to evacuate. I think this also happened when a person was in a warzone(think it was Kosovo but not sure) and bombs were exploding all around them. Then they also played it when a tonadoes were surrounding me and my family on Vacation(It was in South Carolina).

Re: Ains Mind control theory
you are all missing the point to this, even though as the nihilist truly knows that the senses can decieve you as do your emotions, look at how people in the past have reacted because of what they thopught they percieved and what that though was real etc, ofcause the government has an agenda for the tv and net with recriational anesthitist, it is to condition the massess to think in the purchasing pyriamid power to only be happy as of such when having a certain possession and living ones life through the reactions and materialistic nature of others, but the government uses the net and tv as a recriational mind control , it is may be as you described a direct thing, but ofcause it is how you percieve it that counts, trust not in the emoptions conditioned into you from birth and the meaningless materialism, but in instinct!! and you have begun to journey and cut the enslavers off by the balls. nihilism!!!

Re: Ains Mind control theory
Actually, mood-altering shit spewing from your TV screen / monitors is, in fact, a reality, fortunately, (or unfortunately, depending on your Point of View), there's no government plot behind them. They're called positive ions, and they're a bi-product of Cathode Ray Tube technology.

Re: Ains Mind control theory
Our brains are bombarded with subliminal messaging techniques constantly. With today's advanced technology, who knows what's really behind the latest pop tune. There was a study somewhere, a store owner decided to use hidden subliminal messaging techniques behind the store's normal music. The secret message that played over and over was "Do not steal, you cannot steal, you will not steal." There was a 30% reduce in theft. If you would like to know more about this interesting subject, I suggest you learn How To Brainwash People.

one of my favorite movies Templeton. I love that Female Actress with the pale green eyes (Name doesnt come to mind). the ending was great. imagine the womans reaction when she saw who she was banging. to bad that movie had a budget and was filmed on 16mm. John Carpenter should do a sequel.
