Hey if a user starts a thread, i would like for the thread starter to have the right to erase the posts from the thread that he doesnt deem relevant. Im tired of the 14yo hijacking my topics.

An example is the thread "male prostitution"

to answer your question, yes, there are those who would pay to suck another man's dick. i wanted to discuss just the topic of male prostitution, not whether it's moral to be a gay or not.
if it's true as you say, that nobody on totse knows anything about the topic, then i'd prefer that thread were just ignored, as opposed to some other topic being discussed.

Moderators cannot do that. Maybe one of the admins could, but all mods can do is edit posts, and move and lock threads.

Moderators can delete posts, edit posts, move topics, close topics and re-open topics in the section that we specifically moderate.

I personally don't think allowing a user to delete posts in his or her thread is such a good idea. The power could easily be abused.

If that is the case, which i think it is, then don't write retarded threads like this one and you won't get flamed.

As for posts in a thread that you don't think are relevant, thats what a moderator does and will move an entire thread accordingly if it relates better to another forum.

Totse is about free speech and all hell would break loose if thread starters could delete posts in their thread. Think about it a bit, and if you still think it's a brilliant idea, like poop said submit your proposal to administration. Don't hold your breath as i doubt this UBB version can even support that feature.
