Am I the only one here that thinks that the police should use more violence against criminals?

I loove the police..

Your not the only one. I only hate police when their after me. They should use more force. Of course when they use accessive force, i use it against them but they should be able to like shoot me with the taser for no reason.

Those things feel cool.

years ago in detroit, they had this operation called "Stop The Robberies, Ensure
Safe Streets" ("stress" for short). and man those stress cops shot everybody up! it was the fourth of july every night! it was just like in death wish 1... there wasn't anymore crime. so you have to know who got upset...
yup, the 'ethnic community.' made the city shut down the stress operation (wasn't no whiteys being shot!). but while it was in operation, 'stress' sure did work.

Well, Sweden sure sucks. The summer 2001 there were riots in the next biggest city in Sweden (Gothemburg) There was a big EU meeting and anarchists and commies threw stones and shot with zipguns at the police but the police weren�t allowed to use watercannons because it might harm the innocent stonethrowers..

But suddenly a policeman got knocked cold by a rock to the head. And then an anarchist ran closer to the small group of sorounded policemen to throw another rock. But a policeman shot the fucker and everybody were upset that the police shot! The fucking anarchists destroyed things for millions of dollars and everybody gets pissed at the police... Really strange..

A few hours before the riots the police got some info saying that there might be submachineguns hidden inside a small college. The police then brought out everyone in the building and forced them to lay down on the moist ground for about an hour. Some of the sudents got a cold or some shit like that and everybody complaints about police violence..
Hell they didnt hit them or anything..

Are you crazy? A crimminal in a cop's eyes is some one he does not like the way some one looks. You want the be on the recieving end?

criminals are people too. if they aren't hurting anybody i don't think they should be hurt. i don't mean be extra gentle but don't pull the billy clubs on him after you have the guy in custody.

I agree. Also you dont need to arrest or beat up people who forgot to put stickers on their license plate and only ask a guy to get up off the side walk instead of grabbing them by the throat to help them on their feet.

I prefer less cops. I rather deal with a regular thug then to deal with a rogue cop or a thug with a badge.

At least with a regular thug you can shoot their ass and have a better chance of getting away with it.

They might be very violent but as I wrote the cops in Sweden aren�t allowed to do anything..

And they dont beat up ppl in custody..

making it up???? making WHAT up!!! the entire 'stress' cops episode??? HELL YES!
IT HAPPENED! IT WAS VERY REAL, INDEED! and
all the law-abiding citizens LOVED it!!
no more muggings; no more street crime. those stress cops used decoys (staggering winos!). the 'criminal element' would stalk the 'wino'; then try to rob him when they had him like between streetlights. but bang! the wino was actually a stress cop and the bad guy was instantly transported to wherever particular hell street niggers go to when they have been shot thru the head by a decoy stress cop!

when coleman a. young was elected to mayor, he instantly put a stop to stress. he loudly proclaimed (to the black street criminals) "y'all better gets across 8 mile road an' rob those folk!" (yes, the very same 8 mile road cited by eminem). well, this brought him all sorts of grief by the whites living 'across' 8 mile road so he was forced to modify his statement. but he got rid of the stress cops, in any case.

stress was great!

i don't know if pete waldmier is still around -- he used to write for the detroit news -- but if he is you could write him c/o that paper for verification re detroit's 'stress' program (Stop The Robberies; Ensure Safe Streets).

an interesting note; it was only AFTER the
newly-elected black mayor abolished stress that the city's gang problem took form.

Ah yes, Coleman Young, the poster child for being the absolute crookedest mayor you can be.

The Vista Sludge Hauling Scam (kickbacks to the mayor through his sister who was on the city payroll)

More people who worked for him got indicted than ever before or since in the history of Detroit. But he was always sure to say he wasn't involved.

And he used to whip out the "racially motivated" phrase like a gun, on anyone and everyone. I remember when a guy wrote an article for the Detroit News pointing out all the corruption in his tenure as mayor. Good ole' Coleman blasted the guy, said he was only trying to put the black man down, the whole thing was "racially motivated." Then someone mentioned that the guy who wrote the article was black, and Coleman didn't miss a beat, "it's still racially motivated," I laughed my ass off.

That was one of the main reasons that Detroit slid so far down into the sewer, nobody wanted to do business there with all the bribes you had to pay, so everything moved into the outer counties. Even today, all these many years later, they're still trying to get people to bring business in, and the city still looks like a cancer.

And then Coleman died, and in all his possessions, do you know how many stolen guns they found? I still laugh every time I think about it. The guy was the original "trash mouth."

What worked for you worked for you. What I am telling you is based on my experience.

I am saying I never was involved with such violence because I live in the country and I do not get out that often. Becauise of this I had no trouble.

Then one night I went to a local rock band's
concert with a friend of mine and my brother in the downtown area. I was too hot outside so my brother and I went outside to sit on the side walk. A cop came by, (a white one and also my brother and I are white too.)

A cop came by, started to yell aty people for them to get up. My brother didnt hear the cop so the officer grabbed him by the throat and pulled him up to his feet. We tried reporting him but that got my brother no where.

After this I dont believe in shit such as stress that gives cops more power.

Well im from Detroit, an young didnt tell the muggers to go on the other side of 8mile he told the white people to take their ass on the other side of 8mile. an Stress did not work i heard very little about it,but crime in detroit was running very rampant before young became mayor. So you telling me a police officer commiting a crime is ok, 2 wrongs dont make a right, police officers killing people wont make the streets safer, it will just make a bigger force counteract their actions. If the ones who is enforcing the law dont follow the law how do they expect the citizens to. An young did not care about the folks on the other side of 8 mile like you said he got into it with them numerous of times about alot of subjects.

This couldn't exactly be called police violence. Once the mugger had pulled a gun or a knife, shooting him was legitimate self-defense. Conducting this sort of operations doesn't take any legal increase of "police powers". It's rather a public relations matter.

Might be a news for you, but there's a fair amount of people, both in US and Europe, who consider somebody having a submachinegun (or any other weapon for that matter) being none of the pigs businesses.
