Has anyone tried the way to get free cable where you order the extra channels then ring up the cable company and say you dont like them then take out the cable coming from the box for aeound 2 days then when you put it back in you still have all the extra channels?

What does this have to do with network security and hacking?

last i knew, disconnecting the phone cord from sat. works just fine, but i dont know about cable.

Ok....Listen you want free cable??? of corse you do! To get free cable you must understand how it gets to your house ( not talkin PayPerView Or satalite)

Cable Company> Sendes signal in cable wire> wire goes around town to your house> Filters block out what you havnt paid for

Ok now down to the goodstuff.

If you have undergrownd wire you will have to lift one of the manhole covers around your house, just serch them all untill you see a bunch of coax cables. Find the cable leading to your house(Make sure you get YOUR house). And there should be a little filter ( Looks like this http://www.levitonvoicedata.com/structuredmedia/images/47690NFA.jpg , Or sometimes square) but in short take it off reconect the wires badbing badda boom!

If you dont have underground wires then get a ladder, a crowbar and break into cable box (THE BOTTOM LINE) Don't touch the top ones!!!!!

There is a way to get free cable, my dad did it until my sister said "yes we recieve channel 62!" To a cable guy that was installing cable near our area. You need roadrunnre cable for your computer though.

What he did, is when they install cable for interenet, the install tv cable, but they block it off with a card. So my dad unblocked the card somehow, and added a fake card (that has no numbers or something, so it wasn't blocking anything, but seemed like a real block). So..yea..I don't know how, but i know the procedure
