You can save money on products using the BAR-code scam, i have made a "how to" manual, you can see it here:

You can use this scam to save money on expensive products by changing the BAR-code, you just put the BAR-code of a similar but cheaper product over the original BAR-code.

In Michigan there's something called the scan law. If you were to put an insanely expensive barcode over a moderately expensive item, you would get the thing almost for free.

Nice idea and i was thinking about this myself. But would it not look suspicious if you bought a product worth �9.99 and it came up as say �.39?I think the cashier might cath on!
P.S great pics on the site although for me the font was a tad small

They do get suspicious if you only buy one product, but if you buy several other products the price difference isn't going to be noticed. Atleast not so quickly.

Your heineken scan reminds me of a time...I decided to drink one in bed and lost the cap...I stepped on the upturned cap...I remember great pain...so much pain.
