Re: Moonshine
i dont know where to buy it, but you can get alcohol by buying mint extract at wal mart for 2 bucks, and mixing it with water. AS for good tasting alcohol, i have no fucking clue.

Re: Moonshine
It's cheap, easy to make, doesn't take long, and has a good profit margin. There is still a demand due to how cheap people sell moonshine. I wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of the moonshine market is people under 21.

Didnt think of that. Thought it might deal with the taxes pushed on the legal stuff.

Re: Moonshine
country people will do anything they can themselves. most still make it just to make it. i doubt anyone sells much moonshine anymore. though some places will have a local family that has a special recipe that everyone likes and they may make a few batches to trade. i would say the market is mainly old timers not under 21 people.

That what I thought but the history channel had a show about modern moonshiners last night. They are not old timers, (One was 25 years old and made 7000 dollars per week moonshining.) Also one atf agent has a 30 year career destroying illict vats in Virginia. (according to the history channel program.) I tuned in at the end so I didnt watch the whole program.

Re: Moonshine
Actually, some old redneck biker buddies of mine always have some white corn liqour on hand, at about $15 to$20 a gallon, it is cheap, and also quite good. I was a skeptic until I tired some. Considering that one or two shots will get you a decent buzz, and also there is less nausea and hangover from this clear corn liqour without sugar and bullshit preservatives, I would recomend it if you can find a good shiner, with a good pure product. I would compare it to marijuana in the sense that regular store bought whiskey for say Fifteen bucks a half gallon is full of sugars and other undesirable shit, and is cheaply manufactured. That would be comparable with commercial grade mexican weed. Good corn liqour is comparable to high quality hydroponic grown bud, in the sense that the product is not full of sugars and shit, and is more potent(also made with a lotta love) yet this liqour is cheaper than store bought liqour. A half gallon of "shine" will last a casual drinker a couple of weeks, because this is sipping whiskey. One or two good cold shots will definitely take off the edge and give a decent clean buzz.

Re: Moonshine
My grandpa makes shnapps or whatever. It is relatively similar to the production of moonshine. He makes about 2 barrels of the stuff at a time and we rarely see him not drunk...
