How could I refill an empty inhaler cartridge with a gas (for example nitrous oxide) using an air compressor? As empty cartridges are abundant, an air compressor is accessible, and I've got some killer ideas, but rather than risk blowing something up (a.k.a. myself) I figured I'd check and see if this has ben done before, and if anybody has any advice.

Pretty sure they are a one way valve that allows air out of the cylinder but not in. Also the original gas in the cylinder is compressed and if you re-filled it you wont be easily able to compress the gas. Therefore it will have a very low concentration of gas molecules rendering it no good for what i think you want to use it for!

No, I'm not gonna sniff nitrous, I just figured if I could find some way to fill an inhaler cartridge with pressurized gas, and then get my ideas going from there. Flamethrower cartridges, death cartridges, the ideas will come after the means.

cant you get liquid forms of the gas and pump that into the cartridge? I imagine it would be similar to refueling a lighter but only with liquid nitrous.
