Default Need ideas

Alright, here's the deal. I'm going up to where I use to live this weekend, and am staying with a friend. He happened to move right next to a golf course, and lo and behold there's a candy shack two minutes away from his house.

The previous time I went up there we had an unssuccessful attempt at breaking into it.

From what we can see it had a motion detector alarm. Once activated it emits loud beeps, and a blue light spins around, lame..

There's only two points of access. One through the main door, which is protected by a pad-lock [which if we can deactivate the alarm, we know we can get through] and through a rather large vent at the top. Both when jostled activate the alarm, so we're guessing it's motion activated.

From what we can see there is no way to cut the power. The only way would be electrocuting ourselves.

It may seem petty to do that for alot of candy, but we want to do it anyway.

Advice, suggestions?

You'll probably get arrested, but what I recommend is you break-in, grab everything you can, and run like a motherfucker.

i live near a golf course, and there arent any people at it at night. how for away from this shack would the nearest person be? if noone can hear the alarm when it goes off then you have nothing to worry about.

depending on how this is set up, and what th alarm looks like, here are my recommendations:

if the shack is open when it gets dark, sneak up to it (the alarm) and cover it with a heavy material that could help drown on the siren. you may not be able to muffle it entirely, but you should be able to quiet it down considerably. if you can't do this during the day, do it at night after its closed. have a friend go with you, both wearing black non-reflective clothes. have your friend bring a non-see through bag of sort to cover the light, while he is covering the light, you could and cover the alarm with the material as stated above. leave the area... if anyone comes past, they will think an animal or something just tripped the alarm then leave. a few hours later, come back. when you trip the alarm this time, the light will be covered and the alarm will be muffeled. you can make your way through the padlock and into the building itself. once inside, take the candy and whatever else you want to do. on your way out, repalce the padlock, have your friend uncover the light, while you unocver the alarm. if it goes off, someone may come back to check out the area. since the faciility will appear secure, they will think something just tripped it off again. they will find their candy gone in the morning when they open. of course, by then you'll be long gone.

It's not just candy. With products comes what.... money!

The shack is around fifty yards away from the nearest houses.

You see this alarm is a bitch. It's about the loudest thing you will ever hear in your life.

It's hard to sneak in and cover the alarm. There's always people working there. "What are you doing?" "Oh, bypassing your security" "Really?" "yeah.." "Ok"

And we aren't stupid. The earliest we've gone out is one in the morning.

That's a good idea for covering the spinning blue light. But there's another problem. There's a big lamp post stationed right next to the shack.

And once the alarm is set off. It goes all night until reset. That's why we really need to find a way to cut power.

You see all that security for candy... we don't think so. We're curious as to see what else is in there...

The alarm will have a white box with blue light attached...correct?

You need one can of expanding gap filler that comes in an aerosol can. The alarm box will have vent holes either side to allow the sound to emit! Fill the alarm box until the filler is pissing out the vents...

Next if you dont want to smash the blue light spray it with a can of jet black spray paint...

Provided the alarm isnt connected via the phone line to a security monitoring company...which i doubt because you said the alarm goes all night when activated.

Now that should be sufficent information for you guys to go shopping!!!

The power is your best shot. Get a ladder, and spray paint it black so it is less visible. YOu should wear all black clothing too. Set up the ladder near the power line, but about 4 feet off. Get a small trampoline that has a lot of 'give' in the middle. Get a sword, or a long knife. Jump outwards towards the trapoline , cut the wire in mid air and you set. Just make sure youre not grounded.

Wear dark grey or dark green. Straight black doesn't blend well when everything else isn't the same shade of black.

And I also say just bust in the place and run. You say that it's about two minutes away from your friend's house. Well, with the adrenaline pumping you could get there in about 45 seconds.

u might be able to render the alarm useless by placing some sort of tape over the lens of the sensor(s) during the day while its open. it would most likely need to be something opaque (depending on the type of sensor(s)). but of course this presents problems of its own. such as being able 2 place it without being seen. or maybe they have cameras. maybe somebody will notice that there is tape covering the lens(es). in short, candy isnt worth jail.

what kind of motion detector is it? specificly the lens part, dark colored or whiteish? if its dark colored, dark nail polish, if white, white spray paint. if you can see the wires, cut em, bring some tape and tape it back to gether so it doesnt look cut. if it doesnt go off when you cut it bust the door in, load everything in bags and run.

does some one come out and check it when it goes off? how long does it take?

i dont think they would leave the money in there at night.
